En route back to the United States, she traveled to the Ramstein Air Base in Germany. While in Germany, Governor Palin visited wounded soldiers at the Landstuhl military hospital."

I think it is just badly worded (seems like no journalist takes grammar or spelling anymore). It's trying to state that she visited troops being deployed to Iraq, while they were still at Camp Arifjen in Kuwait.
Think Snake Oil salesmen at a carney, drug pusher in a school yard, serial rapist, the NEA, union thug soliciting union membership card, blackjewishmuslimLaRazaillegalalien, Congressman, but I repeat myself.
No mention of that in any article I have seen.
And Sarah certainly has not exaggerated her resume as have Hillary, Obama and Biden.
But everyone knows that since she was first introduced as the VP nominee she has been under continuous fire, dodging incoming dirt clods and bovine excrement from democrats, their media surrogates, and forum trolls.
So how I read this is that Sarah Palin went to Iraq and Kuwait as a lowly, newly elected, governor before Obama went there as a Senator of three years.
Tommy Vietor, thanks for bringing our attention to this. This makes Obama look even worse than he already did!
