There were 3 or 4 of our chapels that were firebombed a few years ago all in the same area of the USA. They eventually caught the guy. I’m sure there are other churches that have had the same kinds of problems. Liberals have stirred people up against all Christians, Catholic, Protestant, Mormon or whatever. Some of them embrace the message to the point of violence.
My bad, not everyone follow this stuff closely. With a son that is a Marine - I tend to spend a bit of time tracking the different gruops.
Now that Russia has more money to pass around, we will likely see more of these National Liberation Front type outfits shooting and killing as never before.
All crimes are hate crimes, the designation is ridiculous. But how do they know the motivation of the offender? Like you said Mormons are a conservative American religious group. Therefore it is not a hate crime.
I'm guessing there were some Molotov cocktails left over from the convention mayhem.
This one hits a little close to home. I will be in the cities this weekend. Apparently the fire "self extinguished" for the most part by the time the authorities got there. Perhaps the Firefighters had a bit of help from above.
I agree that the very concept of a hate crime is stupid, but the selective application of it is unfair.
