Not only does the GOP presidential nominee have the backing of 95% of Republicans, but 41% of Oklahoma Democrats support him, too. Fifty-five percent (55%) of Democrats favor Obama. Unaffiliated voters are nearly evenly divided over the two candidates.

They long gone................ you wont find an off in a southern state, he’s skulked off like a coyote, tail between legs.
ROTFLMAO!!
i hope no one in the mccain-palin camp is getting carried away here. they need to fight as if it was a 1 pt advantage of Obams, bc it may yet end up that way. i still think it will be a nailbiter!
Folks, if you want to live in heaven on earth, live in a state where Bambi polls under 35%.
Looking more like a landslide, but I agree we should fight like it’s close.

way too soon to assume anything and i always prefer to prepare for the worst and be pleasantly surprised if it turns out differently : )

For weeks I've been saying landslide...but confessing that I did not know who would win. I was waiting for a defining issue/moment/gaffe. Now I still think 40 state landslide but I will put McCain in the winner's seat.
But I do agree that we should fight like it's close, close.
Ditto!
YEAH...Oklahoma,
O.K.L.A.H.O.M.A...where the wind comes sweeping down the plain.
Interesting.. now that I think of it I’ve only seen a few Obama yard signs this campaign which is VERY UNUSAL and very few bumper stickers.
Guess its because in Oklahoma we are too busy here clinging to our guns, religion AND don’t forget OIL!! We understand the need to DRILL DRILL DRILL!!
Channel 9 did a poll this week in OK that was even better — McCain/Palin are up by 38 points. Would say you can safely put Oklahoma, The Sooner State, in the win column.
That poll had McCain with 65.9% of the vote.
I am the Chair for McCain in my county which means I have nothing to do. Channel 9 in OKC has a poll that shows Sen McCain up by 38 points. I do believe you can color Oklahoma in as a very RED State.
Boomer Sooner!
Obama opened a campaign office in OKC and Tulsa! We love to take Obama’s money and give him nothing in return. :)
J.C. Watts has had a chance of heart — he now says he is supporting Sen McCain and only wanted to draw attention to how little the GOP pays attention to blacks.
Lost my support when he said that McCain had to come to him to say why he should support him.
Only a month ago JC was handing out Obama t-shirts at a Lake Eufala picnic. Now he supports McCain? Handwriting on the wall it seems!

He’s dead to me now. I’ll take his vote though ; )
No way here to fight like it is close — Oklahoma has not voted for a Dem for President since 1968. Oklahoma had every county go for Pres Bush in 2004 and some of them have token Republicans in the County.
People have been sending emails and calling my phone looking for McCain/Palin bumperstrips and signs. More are on the way.
Sounds like you have job security!
This is exactly why, before we learned the very real dangers of Zerobama, I felt 100% safe NOT voting for president on November 4. It wouldn’t stand a chance of hurting McCain’s election, and I’d feel good NOT voting for the candidate he was at that time.
That situation no longer exists, because now I know how frighteningly dangerous Obama is. I will no longer take the chance, even when McCain is polling at more than 60%.
i was talking national strategy, not OK McCain strategy.
