GIBSON: You said recently, in your old church, "Our national leaders are sending U.S. soldiers on a task that is from God." Are we fighting a holy war?

PALIN: You know, I don't know if that was my exact quote.

GIBSON: Exact words.

Exact words, taken out of context Charlie. Your missing the first two words "Pray that....". Those two words completely change the meaning of the sentence.

Good thing I didn't see the interview I'd probably smash my TV. My keyboard can take more punishment.

Charlie Gibson is a moron who is trying to flank Sara Palin. I’m impressed not only with her poise, but with her restraint. Gibson was obviously trying to rile her and damage her credibility. He failed because she was better than he was. Way-ta-go Sara!

They would excerpt the most negative material first no doubt. If this is it, the Olbermedia is screwed. Now lets quiz Barry about the Orange Revolution and count how many times he references his Muslim faith and his travels around the 57 states.

Important point I think, which bears repeating. These are the excerpts that ABC thinks will be most damaging to Palin.

I love the libosphere is screaming that she is just giving us the party line. As if Obama’s positions veer one inch from the standard American liberal Democrat world view. I could give his interviews for him.

Just watched the except video.

During the entire clip the cameraman had an angle which put more light on Gibson.

Not once did we have more than 40% of Sarah's face.

Gibson faces at least 60%, if not more, all the time.

Who was this interview about?

Try and remember during any of Obamas interviews/stump speech/fox/any CNN images done the same way.

Like the cameraman could not move?

I am still finding it amazing that nobody is asking Obama if it took some hubris to decide to run for president after less than two years in the senate?

And what makes it even worse it that he seriously claims his 3 years of running for the presidency as viable experience -- and they don't call him on that claim.

Gibson took her entire quote out of context and ellipsed like crazy. here is the entire quote: "Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending them out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan."

So you can't see the teleprompter, the secret ear piece and Karl Rove standing in the background holding the cue cards.

You laugh now, but when you read that on DU, remember you heard it here first.
