NYC FOX NEWS poll....
Did Obama target Palin with his lipstick remark?
So far 70% say yes, the comment was an attack on Palin.
Well I sure hope it was an attack on Palin, because otherwise it was just an insensitive statement he was unaware would cause such a reaction. Is this the person you want to negotiate with our friends and enemies? One who insults without being aware of it?

This is an Ivy-Leaguer and he’s very scripted. He doesn’t just throw out phrases like “lipstick on a pig” and “old fish in paper” off-handedly; even to be coloquial. Especially not one right after the other.
Plausible deniability...

Just look at the reaction of Obama’s audience. They all knew what he was saying. And he played it for all it was worth.
Case closed.

I just voted. Palin up to just under 71%.
They must have gotten the wrong answer to have shut it down so soon.
Just voted...poll is still open.
Not to mention he’s a chauvinist racist.
I just now voted and the results show 78.3% believe Obamasiah’s comments were an intentional insult.

2857 votes, 78 yes, 21 no. The Pumas must be hitting it as well.

I didn't mean to imply that the poll had ended. I just tossed in the number or clicks at the moment for everyone to gage how much a click will move the totals.

I agree - Obama knew exactly what he was saying. He's smart enough and old enough to know that making crude insults about women gets you in real trouble.
Any guy over the age of 18 can tell you what would happen if you, for example, happened to be drinking beer in a bar somewhere watching the football game, and another guy overheard you commenting that way about his wife or girlfriend.
What is amazing is that the popularity of Gov. Palin has gotten Sen. Obama so rattled that whatever judgment and discretion he had has left him. That indicates a lack of the temperament and maturity needed to be POTUS.
