Democrats are asking Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin: What would Jesus do?
The Alaska governor, a Christian, has come under fire for criticizing community organizers, but according to labor leader Cecil Roberts, Jesus was a community organizer.

LOL! Apparently there are Community Organizers and then there are Community Organizers. Obama’s kind of C.O. was far left wing with the aim of destroying Chicago’s education system and replacing it with indoctrination centers!
His name should not be mentioned in the same paragraph as our Lord Jesus Christ Who came to show us the Way to eternal life and died for our sins so we will be spotless before our loving triune God.
Meanwhile back on earth, another FReeper said today, “Barack Hussein Obama is a legend in his own mind.”

Jesus healed, miracles and presented his case as the Messiah, and there was no community organizing going on, and if you dont believe me PLEASE READ THE NEW TESTAMENT. Did you really miss the point that badly?
Sheesh
Yes, I have read, and know "a little something" about the New Testament, as well as the Hebrew Scriptures. Lecture someone else.

This meme is deeply offensive to me as it should be to all Christians—because it desacralizes Jesus.
The “community organizer” Jesus is the Jesus of “liberation theology.” It turns Him into a political figure who presumably led a revolt against the Romans, agitating for, who knows, better “social services” or something.
The real Jesus was not a political figure. And despite all the way that they have characterized us as religion-clingers, it’s the Democrats and the Left who have politicized Him.

I think it was Judas that wanted Jesus to be a “community organizer,” but Jesus had bigger plans. Judas was, as I remember, a zealot wanting Jesus to lead the revolution against Rome.

Everyone is reacting to the Lefties template on the "community organizer" kerfluffle. Sarah Palin did not dis community organizers. She identifed herself as one, when she was Mayor.
Here's the entire Palin comment:
""Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown. And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves. I guess a small-town mayor if sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities.''"
Sarah takes on the Community Organizer mantel, the difference is that as Mayor, she was elected. She had responsibilities and she was accountable to her constituents.
Obama's role as community organizer was none of that.

Boy do they sell Jesus short. That in spiritual terms is called blasphemy, and carries a huge karmic penalty.
Herod got eaten up by worms right in front of everybody, for trying to put himself on a par with God. He had the whole approval of the crowd, too.
God doesn't do theatrical stuff like that anymore, but if he did, it would sure send a message!

Two things:
Obama without a teleprompter speaks in tongues.
Obama supporters realize that every time Sarah speaks, she nails him.

Jesus, a community organizer? I don't think so. Jesus repeatedly rejected attempts by Jews to press Him into “organizing” the community for a struggle against the Romans. And Jesus specifically said His kingdom was not of this earth.
