I have to bet against all Freeprs who think Biden will step down as VP.
If I was in his place I would hang on and ride it to the ground, because if they happen to win he ends his career as a VP rather than a Senator. There has to be a lot of benefit for him in that.

really sick; or b) he gets caught up in a serious and inescapable scandal.
Barring those, Biden's ego guarantees that he'll stay in as the VP nominee.

Could they even do this now that the date to quaify to appear on the ballot has passed in most states? I don’t think it would be a wise move on Obama’s part but OTOH he hasn’t exactly made a wise decision in putting him there in the first place.

Biden will step down for heath reasons after two years and one day of the presidency.
Hillary!™ gets a near half term and can still get two full terms of her own.
That's the plan, anyway...
