Not wishing any illness on the man. But, with the number of mistakes he's made and likely to make will he "fake" an illness and drop out? If so history repeats itself we will have another George McGovern situation. I put my money on an Emergency involving his Hair Plugs!! Hair Plug emergency!! Get me 100cc's of Rogaine STAT. LOL

3) The Dims say “WTF, the 2008 election is lost, let’s wait for 2012”, and pick Bob Torricelli to run for VP.

I agree. There is less than 2 months to the election. Obama can’t just pick a replacement without Party endorsement. I just don’t think there’d be time for the Dems to pull together a quickie nominating convention. Even if they did, it would be a circus & they know it.
Maybe instead of Toricelli they could get Cynthia McKinney to run with BO; then a vote against them would be both racist and sexist and Oprah could have Cynthia on her show.

2) Showing lack of judgment, understanding and the inability to take command of the issues.
He loses on both points. He likely loses the election because of how the decision will be perceived. Yes, he may think such a decision may help, but I have to believe cooler heads would prevail. His problem is, he really has to dance with the partner he brought to the dance.

No. This would be far beyond “Eagleton”, and if he picked Hillary, it would show America he had no judgment to be President and that it was a cynical, desperate move. He would lose almost all Independents.
He won’t have to “fake” anything; he’ll be pushin’ up daisies in Fort Marcy Park.
