ABC News ran a hit piece on the McCain/Palin campaign at 3:30 pm Wednesday Sept 10, where they ran a radio news report supporting Obama.
In the report ABC questioned the validity of the McCain campaigns claim of sexism when Obama referred to Palin as "Lipstick on a pig". ABC implied it was fine for Obama to use the expression because its regularly used in washington politics. ABC played audio from 4 politicians using the quote, including McCAIN. McCain's voice was clearly audible in the series of quotes.
During the segment, the ABC News reporter clearly mocked the McCain campaign's surrogate (Swift) with the sarcastic reply "Oh really?!!!"
I bet Obama starts using his lipstick comment every day from now until the election.
In my opinion, it is a mistake to grant ANY MSM outlet a free-2 hours anything-goes interview with Sarah Palin. It is the same old belief that if you (a GOP'er) offer up a truthful no-holds-barred interview with the media, they will also be 'fair'.
In truth, they are ALL scum, even many on FOX. I wouldn't trust a damn one of them! Make them take the contacts where they can't edit willy nilly - as in the debates. She's good enough to shine on her own in a debate with ANY of the Obama ticket.
They also ignore the fact that he paused and waited for their reaction. He begins, "You can put lipstick on a pig..." then waits a second or two until his fans got the message and began whoopin' it up, only then does he finish "but it's still a pig." That pause is really what says it all, IMO.
Of course, ABC will overlook this blog from the Rat website that has already been posted here.

If the quote was delivered singularly its questionable but could be defended but it was used in conjunction with another “smelly old fish” its a personal attack on both and dragged the campaign into the pig sty...ABC should be called on this
It is not news.
ABC is a marketing firm under the parent firm Main Stream and Media.
The “news” piece is a fraud.
Well let’s see what they say about the SC Democratic Chair Carol Fowler saying today “the only qualifications Palin has is that she has not had an abortion”...it’s on Politico and FoxNews.
Huckabee said that it was not an intended slur...I wasn’t sure either last night, but today it’s clear to me that it was.
ALSO, polls overwelmingly are saying that it was intentional...
Well—the newest DNC “comment” about Palin’s only qualification for the job of VP is that “she didn’t have an abortion” is going to wipe the smirks off more than a faces in the media! And no amount of lipstick is going to cover up the UGLINESS of that statement!
As far as trust is concerned - I trust them as much as I trust Dan Rather and Marla Mapes.
It’s here...Carol Fowler, SC Democrat Chair said “the only qualifications Palin has is that she did not have an abortion”....it’s on Politico and FoxNews since Shepard Smith today...
The verdict is in - the issue has already been decided by women and it is not in favor of Obama.
Lingering female resentment from the democrat primaries and the offense taken at the unfair attacks against Sarah have created a powder keg waiting to explode.
Nothing the Obama camp or any of their media apologists do can help Obama convince people he did not intend to offend Sarah with the PIG comment.
The longer they keep the issue open, the better for McCain/Palin.
Never trust ABC. They are as bad as the rest. Their reporting has been anti-Palin for the past 2 weeks.
While the report (at the every end, mind you) put to rest the alleged banned book list as being false, and conceded no actual books had been ever been requested to be banned, it had all the "danger, danger Will Robinson" terse descriptors plus relied heavily on supposed "eyewitness" testimony from Anne Kilkenny, who's been discussed at other FREEPER threads (see last Sunday...can anybody find those Sunday threads or other info on Kilkenny & link to them?). I recall Kilkenny as having been somehow linked to a negative Palin e-mail sent from a supposed local resident to "family and friends").
it’s not difficult to imagine all those self-appointed intellectual geniuses gathered together in the conference rooms at abc hiding behind the first amendment.
nothing but a bunch of mobil phalusses in the process of triangulating, plotting, machinating and just plain playing games with the ability to transmit democrat/socialist propaganda.
Hey Barrack, you sociopathic passive/aggressive f**k...here’s a news flash for ya...it’s not as easy to lie and schmooze when THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!!!
ABC Radio Networks has a very biased news operation ... it’s the radio equivalent of MSNBC.
I bet they used a McCain Voice Impersonator to utter the phase “Lipstick on a Pig”.
I am positive the McCain would have never in his entire life used such a phrase.
