Why is it a “moral decision”, doc?
If it’s not a human, then there’s no moral dilema.
If it is a human, then there’s also no moral dilema, it’s WRONG to kill it.
If you don’t know, it’s STILL wrong to kill it.

Why would doctors be worried about this? It seems to me that this is a choice each family facing such a situation would make privately after having received input from various sources and after having done their own research.

This is what you get with Nationalized Medicine. Everything is viewed as a Cost-Benefit analysis, and a doctor’s ethics don’t really count for much.

It took a Canadian to finally say it. We all know the real reason the left hates Palin is that she actually exercised her right to choose to have the child.
The real, albeit unspoken, position of the left is that in cases like this there should be no "right to choose." The believe the child must be aborted for the good of society.
Palin, brings out the dark and sick underbelly of the Left.

Like a previous poster, I had to wonder if this was satire.
Sarah Palin, if nothing else has exposed the pro-choice movement to millions of Americans who may not have paid attention in the past. They are not pro-choice, as we have known for years. They are pro-death.
Couple this with Fowler’s statement from earlier, and you have an accurate picture of the pro-choice movement.

Dr. Mengele lives.
Obviously, “choice” is NOT intended to mean freedom to choose life for the baby. Probably they worry about health care money being used for these worthless human beings.
