CNSNews.com) - Non-intern female employees did better working on the Senate staffs of John McCain and Hillary Clinton during the latest public reporting period than they did working for Barack Obama, Cybercast News Service determined through an analysis of payroll data published by the Secretary of the Senate.
On average, women working in Obamas Senate office were paid at least $6,000 below the average man working for the Illinois senator. Thats according to data calculated from the Report of the Secretary of the Senate, which covered the six-month period ending Sept. 30, 2007. Of the five people in Obamas Senate office who were paid $100,000 or more on an annual basis, only one Obamas administrative manager was a woman.
The average pay for the 33 men on Obamas staff (who earned more than $23,000, the lowest annual salary paid for non-intern employees) was $59,207. The average pay for the 31 women on Obamas staff who earned more than $23,000 per year was $48,729.91. (The average pay for all 36 male employees on Obamas staff was $55,962; and the average pay for all 31 female employees was $48,729. The report indicated that Obama had only one paid intern during the period, who was a male.)
McCain, an Arizona senator, employed a total of 69 people during the reporting period ending in the fall of 2007, but 23 of them were interns. Of his non-intern employees, 30 were women and 16 were men. After excluding interns, the average pay for the 30 women on McCains staff was $59,104.51. The 16 non-intern males in McCains office, by comparison, were paid an average of $56,628.83.

That’s what happens when a Muslim (fluent in Arabic, may have been born in Kenya) runs for president. Women are chattel, and have no say in anything. Michelle’s few appearances are just that. She will sit down and shut up until she is called to perform.
No one who has any knowledge of Obama’s history should be even remotely surprised.
What’s amazing is the number of flunkies these Washington elites need - all paid on our dime.
OUCH! That’s gonna leave a mark. Obama’s new ad about his daughters’ getting equal pay just started running in my local area (Northern Wisconsin). It would be wonderful if these facts would be picked up by our local media, but I won’t hold my breath. Nonetheless, I will be forwarding this to my local news outlets — I suggest other FReepers do the same.
With an unexpected bonus, too.
If you analyze the jobs, I bet you would find that Clinton and McCain also put women in jobs with more responsibility than Obama does - explaining the pay disparity.
Loved it. Thanks for making me laugh!
THIS IS FROM APRIL 2008
This is dated April 2008
Still useful, but must use caution here.
That’s only a four months ago, not really all that long.
And the fact is that he did it, and recently, too.
He may have corrected that by now, but I’d hazard a guess that it was only because he got caught.
OK, the article was from four months ago. The events happened last year, before he was really in the public spotlight.
It’s easy to do what looks good when you can benefit from it. What he did when he thought it didn’t count or would be noticed is what matters.
Fact is, he did it.
I don’t disagree.
I’m just cautioning against a lot of excitement that it is something hidden until now.
It is REALLY good fodder, in fact I believe, for the McCain campaign to use.
Very, very well done.
Awesome video! Thanks so much for the ping. :-)
I’d say that’s the work of a PUMA, 4wb. I’ve followed some of the Hillary Clinton forum threads since Palin was officiallly announced. They are excited. I’ve even seen Rush Limbaugh transcripts on their threads, since the announcement?!.
Who knows what the numbers are....but with some Hillary women supporters and “evangelical” voters on the same page....Obama is in trouble. Maybe a few of these PUMA/Hillary voters can have a real core principle conversion over the next four years.
Did I already say, Obama is in trouble? HAHAHAHAHA,
liberals would have NONE!
