Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."
I got called a troll many times over when I challenged the claims that Drudge was in the tank for Obama. I think this is all the proof we need he's not.
Hugh Hewitt just said on his show that John Bolton has been assigned to Palin’s team.

True, but also everyone knows the saying about lipstick on a pig. Like I said...I know what it was in reference to, but it was done in such a way that they have deniability.

Hubby and I were talking about that, after the lipstick comment, and both of us thought the same thing.
The violence we all saw out of “protesters” at the RNC is nothing compared to what will happen election night and the next day.
In all seriousness, we all need to be vigilant after this election. The left is going to show themselves as the ugly, violent cretins they really are.
