Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."
He screwed up. He actually SAID outloud, what he usually writes to message boards on his blackberry. Usually, he has these lines put on blogs, and then he can condemn them. He really messed up!
I don’t see how he can recover from that. There is no excuse for calling her a pig. And if he “didn’t” mean it as a slam on her, then there is no excuse for such a slip of the tongue. We can not have a President who “accidentally” insults people from all over the world!
We can not let this man win. The Dems will turn to cheating now. Please, everyone, observe the counting of ballots on Election night. It is your right. Be an election judge, if you can. Volunteer. FIGHT!!!
Think some Democrats may be starting to have some buyers remorse? They have fallen for a real jerk.

Wonder what would happen, I mean how the media would cover it..if McCain said “You can take the monkey out of the jungle, but he’s still a monkey.” You know they would pounce immediately on McCain. But...it is so true in Obama’s case.

I think that Barry is trying to be clever. He used the lipstick and fish line without referring directly to Palin. But the audience knew what he was trying to inferrer.
Republicans and then PUMA folks aren’t going to buy it. The question is whether the MSM (besides Fox) is going to cover this story. If this story goes viral on the Internet, they may be forced to cover it.
