Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."
He better start wearing lipstick, because, as has already been mentioned, he is a Male Chauvinist pig!
Um. I think I'll let someone explain it who wouldn't be embarrassed at the attempt. I believe it is slang used to say that they don't like women.
He’ll regret this for sure. Why? He was thought to be eloquent and above this vulgar air. Now he has freely offered us an example of his polluted heart.
Those internal dnc polls must not be very good for them, eh?
Here's the idea:
Take the official Obama-Biden campaign sign and write over it in bright red 'lipstick' style font at an angle:

That just confirms that he meant Sarah. She was the pig and McCain was the old fish. He’s going to pay big time. By Friday McCain will be up 15.
Perhaps Palin could just say; “ Obama doubting our real change is like “the pot calling the kettle black”.
I’m sure the MSM would see it as just an old saying not anything racist.

Of course they know. That’s why the crowd reacted they way they did to the remark. The MSM will be in full rally around Obama mode.
Seems to me it looked like he thought for a second before saying it. Almost like should I say it...Oh well here goes. Now we wait for the Dem apologists to explain it. The Hillary forum people are talking about a reference to an old saying about perfume on a pig. If that’s the case than changing it to lipstick is an obvious personal attack. What was he thinking here?

Obama puts his left hand over his eyes and forehead when he speaks the fatal words. I wonder what O’Reilly’s body language expert will say about that. I think it means that he actually is ashamed of what he is doing, but he is doing it anyway.
Definitely beyond his expiration date.
