Secret killing program is key in Iraq, Woodward says
CNN ^

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The dramatic drop in violence in Iraq is due in large part to a secret program the U.S. military has used to kill terrorists, according to a new book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Bob Woodward. Bob Woodward on Larry King Live Bob Woodward's book, "The War Within: Secret White House History 2006-2008," came out Monday. The program -- which Woodward compares to the World War II era Manhattan Project that developed the atomic bomb -- must remain secret for now or it would "get people killed," Woodward said Monday on CNN's Larry King Live. "It is a wonderful example of American ingenuity solving a problem in war, as we often have," Woodward said. In "The War Within: Secret White House History 2006-2008," Woodward disclosed the existence of secret operational capabilities developed by the military to locate, target and kill leaders of al Qaeda in Iraq and other insurgent leaders. National security adviser Stephen Hadley, in a written statement reacting to Woodward's book, acknowledged the new strategy. Yet he disputed Woodward's conclusion that the "surge" of 30,000 U.S. troops into Iraq was not the primary reason for the decline in violent attacks. "It was the surge that provided more resources and a security context to support newly developed techniques and operations," Hadley wrote. Woodward, associate editor of the Washington Post, wrote that along with the surge and the

Great News!!!!!

I was worried that they would try to "arrest and charge them" then the ACLU lawyers would step in and the taxpayers would fund their legal cases.

A triple tap to the head takes care of everything with little effort.

Bullets are cheaper than ACLU, not to mention saving us from the endless sob stories appearing in the NYT, LAT and WaPo.

Good. If it works, expand the program.

Hmm, I’m guessing that the new weapon is the “sniffer.” You see, you attach a super duper sniffing device the the nose of plane. When it flies over...and the Al Qaeda operatives hear it, they get scared and they poop a little. At that point, they’re pretty easy for the “sniffer” to pick out in a crowd. The “sniffer” singles them out and KA-BLAM!!! No more Al Qaeda...it’s really an ingenious device...

Sounds like the OODA loop.

While he would not reveal the details, Woodward said the terrorists who have been targeted were already aware of the capabilities.

"The enemy has a heads up because they've been getting wiped out and a lot of them have been killed," he said. "It's not news to them.

Woodward described it as being on the same level as the Manhatten Project as far as secrecy and scope, but to me it sounds like something more along the lines of the Enigma code being broken.

I'll bet they've found some insanely ingenious way of intercepting insurgent communications and immediately dispatching spec ops teams to kill everyone on site. Can't wait to hear the details, although its probably years off until they reveal anything about it.

“Isn’t the war on terror a terrorist killing program in it self?”

***

And that’s exactly what’s wrong with it!

Why ... killing them is almost as bad as
frightening ‘em with snarling dogs
or denying them habeas corpus.

Sorry Lancy, but you’ll never convince me of that one. Woodward was a shill for Clinton the whole way through his impeachment process. So was Bernstein. Oh he never did anything wrong. It was all a witch hunt.

These two were Katheryn Graham’s little lap dogs during the Nixon years.

They went after Nixon for the good of the nation. They ignored Clinton because there was nothing there. B.S.

If nothing else, there was clear evidence of witness tampering with Monica BlewHimsky involving Richardson and Jordan. Woodward was too busy kissing Clinton’s hindquarters to notice.

Okay.....Here is the scoop on the secret...

Our Marines have openly advertised they are in possession of brain implants that gives the implanted the ability to converse directly with Allah...

However, the militant islamist/terrorist who is about to be implanted, may or may not choose the size depending on circumstances and availability.

Each implant may contain precious metals such as depleted uranium, molybdenum, copper, steel, lead, phosphorus and other materials.

There is also the possibility that the recipient may suffer symptoms of high speed lead poisoning shortly after application.

The implementation procedure may not be painless since implementation may be performed from varying distances and angles.

Additionally, some procedures may be faster than others as different applicators may be chosen to insert the devices. So the implanted is advised to make no other appointments on the day of implantation.

The U.S. Marine Corps will not judge the terrorist, judgment is the sole responsibility of his or her maker. The Corps' duty is ONLY to facilitate and expedite the implantation procedure.

The Brain Implants come in various sizes, and the situation encountered with each Islamist will determine the correct size implant..

A guy on Wired Magazine links to this DOD document ... which I hasten to note is UNCLASSIFIED but nonetheless interesting.
