Local Anarchist Group Has Affinity for Violence

590 am KLBJ reports this afternoon that the Molotov cocktail plot involving two Austin men at last week’s Republican National Convention may be connected to the recent fire at the Texas Governor’s Mansion.

Two members of an Austin based anarchist group called “The Austin Affinity Group” are locked up accused in a plot to use Molotov cocktails to disrupt the Republican Convention. Now investigators are trying to determine if the pair are connected to the fire that destroyed the Governors Mansion. News Radio 590-KLBJ’Security Analyst, Fred Burton from Stratfor.com says the “Austin Affinity” may have worked with some other groups.

Stay tuned…. ___________________________________________________

Austinites Attempt to Redefine “Cocktail Hour” at RNC

Some Protests Generate More Heat than Light, But This is Ridiculous

This morning’s Austin American Statesman reports that two fine, young citizens of the Capital City had planned to bring a little more…uh, “excitement” to last week’s Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN than the convention organizers had planned on:

Austinites David McKay, 22, and Bradley Crowder, 23, were arrested last week on charges that they constructed Molotov cocktails to throw at police during the convention in St. Paul.

Nothing like some wood alcohol, glass bottles, and burning wicks to support the free expression of ideas and and show your tolerance for dissenting political views.

Is this tolerant?

But if you happen to get caught just have some community organizer explain it all away…

The Molotov throwers are “safe” until a certain subculture in America loses faith in Law Enforcement and our Justice Systems. When that happens, guys like this will just be afraid to be seen committing mischief like this.

theyre already being allowed to get within tossing distances with unknown substances and gettin off with piddly misdemeanor slaps on the wrist...

in my little drama at home I run far greater risks than these douchebags will until they pull this in a well armed population and then a 'radical ringht wing gun nut' will get jacked up for murder I...

sickening...

Yep, LST always has the funniest polls..

Did Sarah Palin’s speech:

* Field dress a donkey? (45%, 104 Votes)
* Do to Barack what Jesse wanted to do? (28%, 64 Votes)
* Kick Barack where Jesse wanted empty space? (27%, 62 Votes)

Total Voters: 230

It won't be a well armed population. The popluation can only seem to manage staying slightly ahead of the "curve"...so to speak, much less organizing to the degree which the communists have. I'm referring to a subculture which suffers these people to breathe perfectly good air through restraint only by strength from the Almighty, knowing that His will for them is as for us....even knowing that it's written that a good many of them will be preserved simply for destruction that God will be shown mighty. It's this subculture I'm talking about. If they lose their already strained element of trust with law enforcement, very bad things will start happening to these leftists.

may be connected to the recent fire at the Texas Governor’s Mansion.

Imagine that, Austin reaping what they sow.

There is no excuse for that criminal act of destruction of public and historic property. That was a slap in the face of all Texans, and frankly, most of us consider it a domestic terrorist act. That historic site had nothing to do with whomever happens to be governor nor individual laws someone has a beef with.

During the execution of a search warrant by the St. Paul Police Department at the Dayton Street residence where McKay was arrested, officers seized a variety of items, including gas masks, slingshots, helmets, knee pads and containers of a gasoline and oil mixture.

Under the kitchen sink, officers discovered a two-gallon gasoline container that appeared to be the one purchased by McKay, Crowder and others at the Wal-Mart on Aug. 31. In a common area in the basement of the residence, officers found eight assembled Molotov cocktails.

If convicted, McKay and Crowder each face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. All sentences are determined by a federal district court judge. This case is the result of an investigation by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, which includes the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the St. Paul Police Department. It is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney W. Anders Folk.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are part of this group of black flag roaches that tried to provoke us at a counterprotest.
