Poll is meaningless, though. We havent even had the debates yet.
Yep Kerry was down and his camp dispirited until Bush blew the first debate

How does the rich mans party not carry RI, CT, CA and NY? In the cases of RI and CT, too much of that money is old money. The subsequent generations can safely rebel against their parents, while not personally doing damage to their own financial situations. With CA and NY, too many minorities who want income redistribution.

I would betcha that there is one person who DID realize this: McCain.
He did a masterful job of keeping his decision to tap Palin quiet, and even goaded the Dems on during their convention so their “fall” is even more prominent. Being gracious to snObama and Biden was no accident.
Ya gotta love how everyone was saying “she wasn't vetted” when he met with her early this year and the NewMedia has had Palin high in their sights almost forever now. But the FRAUDcasters of the Dinosaur Media only saw DC VPs. LOL.
I keep linking MadIvan’s VP analysis because he called for Palin back in February just to show as many people as possible just how stupid the OldMedia has become:

I refuse to get exuberant since this isnt Nov 2.
Agree--let's hope they don't screw up one of the debates and give heart to the left wing nut jobs

Good advice. We need to work hard and pull together as if our lives depend on it. They do.

According to a math friend of mine here are the day by day polls according to his estimates.
Friday - Obama +2.4%
Saturday - McCain +4.2%
Sunday - McCain +7.2%

While I love Karl Rove and his brilliant analysis it’s absurd on its face to think that Obama has ANY real shot at a MT or a ND, I don’t care what fluke polls are trotted out.

This could be the beginning of a huge swing for McCain and not just a post convention bounce due to many different obvious factors. Once McCain starts getting real separation (+6 points), most of the fence riders will commit to him. If they haven't made their mind up by now, they are just looking to go with the winning team. Obama's money will continue to dry up and they will start turning on each other like the pit vipers that they are.
Should make for an interesting couple of months!

LOL!!!!Great!
I have never seen the RATS so unhinged, they are hysterical.
To: Perdogg; Chieftain
We are making the delusional mistake of assuming that the Rats and Libs actually look at issues, use rationality and make decisions not based purely on emotion.
Just remember how Brarry GOT to this point. That should be frightening enough to go out and campaign like crazy. I talked to a lib neighbor who is very intelligent, educated, mature and works in the coporate world. The one reason she could give me that she will vote for Obama...”We need someone that will inspire the country>”
The Kool aid works.
the lifelong experience of being a liberal is undaunted by ANY Dem candidate, no matter how inadequate.
we can yip on FR how “dumb or gullible “ the Libs are...but never underestimate the power of their numbers! And the power of FEELINGS.

It’s all going to depend on turnout. Various PUMA blogs show that PUMAs are volunteering at McCain headquarters to walk precincts and make phone call; we must all do what we can, too.

You can send money to the
RNC, yes.
I would recommend
McCain-Palin Victory 2008 (a joint RNC-McCain arm which is the only group along with the RNC that can directly support McCain now), or
McCain-Palin Compliance Fund (which pays-down legal and complaince costs so that the public funds can be used more on commercials and mailings).
There are also a few good 527 groups out there. Others could better help you with them. One is running an ad in MI targeting Obama's past support of Kwame Kilpatrick. (Freedom Alliance Fund?)
