I think this is a VERY telling freudian slip by Barrack.
The liberals are starting to show up in full force on youtube from the looks of it trying to say the clip was edited or that he was taken out of context etc etc etc...
Maybe it was just to expose the vicious bias of the media....and I'm NOT referring to this thread.
McCain and the Bullet have been doing a good job of poking lighthearted fun at HE WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED [We dare not speak his name!]
If they do something tongue-in-cheek, it would work. But they would have to tread very lightly. In the meantime, talk radio can talk about this in a lampooning manner.
Yes, I would very much like to hear an answer to that. Clearly he has recited the shahada just over a year ago (to the New York Times, of all places --- while a tarnished version of its better years, still a very important news organ), so this is not a discussion of an event in the far past.
My own opinion is that he is a professing Muslim.
There's just no other explanation for any recitation of the shahada to the New York Times. Understanding its significance, I certainly would never do so; Senator Obama had Koranic training as a child, and clearly must understand the significance of its recitation.

I did a search on google and nearly every link I clicked redirected to goofy sites with recipes, video games or online dating info.

No. Nor was he saying he wasn't a Muslim, either. And he never has, to my knowledge.
What he needs to do (in no uncertain terms) is explain when and if he ever was a Muslim. If he was, than he needs to affirm he certainly isn't any more. He needs to renounce Allah as the One True God and Islam as the True Religion and one way to God. Verbally. Publicly. Under the Koran, no Muslim is allowed to do that. It's blasphemy.
Anything less than this is an evasion of his obvious Muslim roots and background and an attempt to cover them over with devious words and actions.
If he is NOT now a Muslim, he should be able (and willing) to emphatically state that in unequivocal terms.
But he hasn't - and maybe he can't. And that's the rub!
If he really meant to say “my Christian faith” it would not be within the context of the question. Obama has sepnt the last few days scaring his crowds about how his opponents were going to say he has a funny name, that he has muslim connections etc etc.. so for him to say what he said this morning is no mistake. This man is lying about his faith and is trying to keep it a secret but when you don’t have a teleprompter and when you are dim bulb you will reveal yourself sooner or later as he did this morning.
Liberals can deny, insult and claim conspiracies but deep down they know what he said when he said it, not that it matters to them but they will defend him all the way to his defeat.
I agree. There are plenty of things about Obama and his views to used against him that would be just as damaging to any candidate regardless of race or relgion.

Aside from what he said, if you replay the first second of the clip over & over where he says “I” as if he were a billy goat, who else will admit that they can pronunciate/ talk like this? There’s something wrong with him not sure what it is but it isn’t normal.

Bottom line for me is, I have no idea what obammy meant by saying “MY muslim faith” and frankly I don’t care.
I do know that most Americans hearing this will come to one conclusion, and that is good for us.
