I think this is a VERY telling freudian slip by Barrack.

He won’t say something like that. He can’t. Many reasons, but the big ones are that he’d alienate his anti-God base if he had, and because he’s actually a muslim. Which, by the way, has in their belief that it is proper to lie to your enemies to overpower and destroy them (us).
So, he can say that he’s a Christian, but won’t do a thing -say a thing- to prove it.
Personally, I just think that this was another example of the bum not knowing how to talk -yet again.
Obama himself has made religion an issue in this election — just like they have made race an issue, and just like they have made gender an issue. In Barack’s own book he states that “Harold Washington (the first black mayor of Chicago) knew that if he played the race card it would cover up for a multitude of shortcomings.” You don’t believe Obama is doing this same thing - playing the race card, playing the religion card to cover up for a multitude of shortcomings, placing himself as an “innocent” victim? I see that he has clearly taken the “cover-up plan/accusation of racism plan” to an all-new level... All the while sending campaign emails to his followers saying things like; “They’re lying, send money” without offering any proof, without offering any explanation of just what people are saying is untrue.
I agree that we should focus on the issues. However, he himself has made this an issue by being so subversive in his answers to legitimate questions about his background, and upbringing. It is up to the Conservatives to bring out these TRUTHS because the media is certainly not going to do it for us... Unlike what they have done for Obama.
This was not taken out of context. I watched the whole exchange of 2 minutes including the question from George, and his entire answer. He had to be REMINDED he was a CHRISTIAN. I’m sorry, but I have NEVER known a REAL Christian to make a mistake like this... You will never hear a dedicated Christian make a mistake when talking about faith like this — it’d be like a Christian saying “My Jewish Faith” or “My Hindu Faith”. Not a big deal if it truly is a MISTAKE, a VERY big deal when one has history they are trying desperately to hide. And a big deal when one takes into account that Obama has promised to DISMANTLE our military during a WAR against MUSLIM Radical Terrorists! A big deal when his own campaign has been linked to Muslims under investigation for funneling money to Terrorist organizations... A big deal indeed.
I don’t believe for a moment that this is a Non-Issue. It’s not really even about RELIGION — it’s about HONESTY and CHARACTER. Two things which Obama has serious problems with...

It’s a trap.
He paused before he said “Muslim”, he knew exactly what he was saying. This is an attempt to get himself back into the limelight, and paint his opponents as racists.
That video is kind of interesting. I watched the whole thing. Sure makes you wonder about a lot of things. I downloaded that one, too.
It makes sense now in retrospect when he wasn’t wearing a flag pin, when 12,000 flags were left for trash at Invesco field, his not saluting the flag. He’s no fan of Old Glory. The “O” on his plane eliminated the stars.
