Barry Obama has slipped on his own faith by saying "John McCain has not... talked about... My muslim faith"
Of which Stephanopolous carried the water and corrected him by saying "Christian faith".
I think this is a VERY telling freudian slip by Barrack.
FWIW, video link at post 60 is longer and has more context. Tempest in teapot IMHO.
I wish I was in Steve Schmidt’s war room for McCain! They must be bouncing off the walls and ceiling with joy about this. They will use this unforced error as the knock-out blow against obama!
You sure that wasn't a power interruption between the two hemispheres of his brain?
Obama: What I was suggesting, you're absolutely right that John McCain has not, uh, talked about my Muslim faith and you're absolutely right that that is not...
Stephanopoulos: Christian faith.
Obama: My, my Christian faith, and, well, what I'm saying is he hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim. (cross talk by Stephanopoulos could not be distinguished.)
Context: Stephanopoulos was asking about Obama saying yesterday Republicans are saying he's a Muslim and the McCain campaign denying that they are doing that. After the transcribed exchange Obama acknowledged the 'upper echelons' of the McCain campaign were not doing that but he accused others in the Republican party of doing so.
I concur. His focus was on attempting to correct a statement by another, as though to evade a charge of accusing McCain. The object of his thought was on what McCain did and hadn’t done, but in so doing, referenced his Muslim faith as opposed to asserting it was an object of McCain’s statements.
It reveals that in Obama’s thinking, he believes himself Muslim, though attempting to charade as Christian.
Here's a quick link to a Denver poll we should target:
Which vice-presidential running mate does the most to strengthen his or her ticket?
Total Votes = 272
Joe Biden 51.47 %
Sarah Palin 47.42 %
Don't know 0.367 %
Don't care 0.735 %

Video has been pulled from youtube. Any surprise here?
I hope- no- I pray you guys are right. I just keep remembering the last 2 presidential elections- Algore actually won the popular vote and got within a handful of winning the whole thing. JFK (did you know he served in Vietnam?) lost but still got more votes than had ever been cast in a presidential election. It just scares me that the Dems have their sheeple (NEA, unions) that just march in and vote as instructed.

Several years ago, there was a news report that was played over and over. A British moslem in a white robe and cap, with a beard, was in a reporter’s face, yelling about how ‘they’ were going to take it to the West and destroy it. He specifically screamed (into the camera, finger pointing and everything), “We’re going to (I forget the first sentence). We’re going to turn the White House into the black house. (He then went on for two more sentences).”
He then stopped himself short, turned and walked away, back to a demonstration.
His meaning was that islam would take over the White House. That was plain.
I can’t find that clip anymore. Anywhere.
I agree. While this is a delicious sound byte, it really doesn’t fit the bill as a true “freudian slip”. He was trying to say that McCain hasn’t made allegations of him having a muslim faith.
Still, given that we are supposed to believe how brilliant an orator he is, and how his incoherent ramblings are the product of his genius, nuanced intellect, his campaign will be forced to address and control this damage.
My God! Somebody get this video clip and turn it into a National ad, like NOW!
It certainly explains why Hillary wasn’t selected.
Unless she converted and wore a burka, there is no way in hell a Muslim would have been allowed to elevate a female to power.
But wait—Obama has repeatedly stated that he is NOT a muslim and it has been tradition in this country to take politicians at their word.....heh.....
