Sen. Boxer Says Gov. Palin Is An 'Extremist'
NBC11 ^ | September 4, 2008

Posted on 09/05/2008 12:36:46 AM PDT by nickcarraway

Sen. Barbara Boxer says Sarah Palin's acceptance speech for the Republican vice presidential nomination was "laced with ridicule" and calls the Alaska governor an extremist.

At a Thursday meeting with transportation officials in Los Angeles, the Democratic senator told reporters that Palin's views are "way out of the mainstream." Boxer said Palin doesn't believe global warming is caused by human activities, is against abortion and opposed to stem cell research.

Palin's speech Wednesday in St. Paul, Minn., combined some of her beliefs, jokes about being a hockey mom, and attacks against Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

Hahaha, Barbara Boxer!
When my kids were younger and they saw her on TV they always laughed and said, “Dad, that’s the lady with her picture next to the word ‘stupid’ in the dictionary, right?”

I agree with her. I hear about a woman who's all about Jesus, babies and guns, and all I can think about is extreme. Extremely just like me. Extremely down to earth. Extremely in love with her family. Extremely in love with Christ. Extremely in love with her country.

And extremely in love with a good hunt. You go girl. Get extreme. I've hunted turkey, pheasant, boar, deer and rabbit. Send me an extreme mooseburger. Be an extremist. I love it. 'Bout time someone in our party got extreme.

Barbara needs to get out more—out of San Francisco, that is.

If there was one smart reporter in the room this is the follow up to that statement....

“Ms Boxer. Governor Palin enjoys an 80% approval rating in her home state and the Congress which you serve in has a 9% approval rating. How do you jive those approval numbers with your alleged extremism and her being outside the mainstream?”

So, what does that make all the Democrats who ridiculed George W. Bush?

She always says the opposition is “too extreme” and we need to tell HER she’s too extreme and put forth a real candidate in 2010.

There is nothing complicated here - Babs is hyperventilating, and becoming delusional, so some one needs to hand her a brown paper sack, and tell her to take a couple of DEEP breaths, so she will calm down.

All excellent posts. I detest Boxer, to the extreme.

I’d like to handwrite her a letter and include your posts. Do you all mind? I could not come up with anything better. I will include your “names”. I’ll do an email also. I don’t know which is more likely to get to her. It will probably be filtered by her staff, but it will feel good to send it.

She embarrasses this CA girl something terribly. I’ve gotten calls from out of state friends and family when she says something stupid, and they ask “You didn’t vote for her, did you”.

A damn good question that will never be asked by the MSM.

She knows she’s about to lose her influence, and big time! I think the lefties realize that they could not only lose the election, but lose a lot of seats, too! They thought they were going to seal out the Republicans with a majority that would leave Republicans needing to vote with them or be left out, looking silly. I think it didn’t hurt for those few Republicans to stay in DC and demand that Pelosi do her job to serve the American people, either. That has helped to shore up public opinion and many are taking the Republicans more seriously. This party’s ticket and running theme couldn’t come at a better time!

Good. It means it was EFFECTIVE.

They are truly idiots for losing their cool and showing their weak underbelly. Have those people no Asian tactics!? A three year old could outsmart those amateurs. LOL!

Remember: You get start getting flak that means you are OVER THE TARGET. The flak gets the most intense when you are the CLOSEST OVER THE TARGET.

Just when I think Pelosi is the stupidest woman in the world, here comes Babbling Boxer and proves me wrong.

There does seem to be a connection with both of them from the state of fruits and nuts, not to mention the state of the folks who voted them into office.

“the Democratic senator told reporters that Palin’s views are “way out of the mainstream.”

That is, she is not one of the sheep who willingly follow our neurolinguistic programming and actually believe humans cause global warming (if it exists), abortion is morally acceptable (including late term)and that the products of abortions (stem cells) can be treated as a commercial product to enrich Barbara's friends in the abortion industry...

Depends on how you define the “mainstream”.

PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome) is spreading like wildfire. What began taking over whack-job liberal blogs is now following it’s natural progression onto the mainstream media and the DemocRat Party.

Couldn’t be happier about it either.
