PITTSBURGH Barack Obama's camp is unloading on Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin after Palin described herself as a "pit bull" and then tore into Obama in a tough convention speech.
"There wasn't one thing that she said about Obama or what he's proposing that's true," fumed Obama's strategist David Axelrod, speaking to reporters aboard Obama's campaign plane.
Axelrod defended Obama against one of Palin's most biting lines, when she ridiculed a favorite part of Obama's resume, saying: "I guess a small town mayor is sort of like a community organizer -- except that you have actual responsibilities."
"They can demean service in the community but I think most people appreciate it," Axelrod shot back.

When I hear “community organizer” I get this hilarious image of a guy in a tracksuit herding homeless people to a voter registration booth with a carton of Kools. Obama Campaign - Please send out Al Sharpton to tell me how wrong I am.
“Hey Obama camp. Stick a tampon in it. Youre bleeding all over the place.”
Now, that’s one of the best comments I’ve read! Wish it could be a bumpersticker!
These Obama handlers are the biggest liars and whiners in history. Obama has done zip in elected office, unless one counts his Marxist and hate America friends as accomplishments.
Oh, I know what he actually accomplished- he took all the money he could.
“They can demean service in the community but I think most people appreciate it,” Axelrod shot back.”
What our side needs to do with this “community organizer” theme is to point out that he workd for ACORN, which has members indicted, in jail, or on trial in 12 states for fruad of various kinds.
“OK, lets play along. What has Obama done? What are some real examples of his leadership and work?”
It’s funny how no one can answer that question, isn’t it?
The Barry Hussein worshiping msm never bothered to go to his community and see what results he accomplished there...other than hooking up with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and ACCORN, the vote fraud operators.
He wasn’t even responsible for taking the asbestos out of that one apartment building they tout as his big accomplishment. The women in the ‘hood got that job done.
The O stands for zero.
What a bunch of baloney.
What work? Can't recall Obama mentioning it either. Did he represent someone before the USSC on some constitutional issue? Did he write a groundbreaking brief on a point of constitutional law?
Please Mr. Axelrod, enlighten us.
Remind me again, what is “white guilt.” (dripping sarc)
BINGO!!!
And this is why Obama is going to lose. They are using attacks against the Republican Vice Presidential nominee that they have no defense for their Presidential nominee.
No college transcripts, no LSAT scores, no writings from the Harvard Law Review, no college friends, no law firm colleagues, no testimonials from his community work in Chicago.
FTA: “He accused Palin of trying to ‘ignore his (Obambi’s)work as a constitutional lawyer, as a professor at the University of Chicago....”
Obambi was never a professor. He was a lecturer. There is a huge difference.
She said Obama was gifted and intelligent, I guess that wasn’t true either..
Obama Campaign: “Palins Speech Did Not Say One True Thing About Obama “
Of course it didn’t say ONE true thing about Obama...it said about TWENTY true things about Mr. ZERO.
For instance, Obama’s Greek columns were made of polyurethane foam, not styrofoam...
Funny how they demean Palin’s community service in youth sports, PTA and city council as mere fluff, while Obama spreading walkin-around-money is so noble.
