I could have sworn every time the camera panned to Bristol she mouthed “help me, I’m being held hostage”.
That's really what it's about to Feldt - power, and the projection of her own reprobate, blood soaked lust for it onto Bristol Palin. For Feldt, what other way could there possibly be to have the ultimate power trip than to have complete mastery over life and death of another, and the thrill of choosing to kill an innocent human being?
