Palins adorable daughter spit-comb a hit online The unexpected shot of the Sarah Palins youngest daughter innocently licking her hand to comb her baby brothers hair brought laughter and all sorts of positive comments throughout the Twitterverse (my favorites are this one, this one and this one.). She also made it to the top 30 list of Googles hot trends that people were searching for tonight. And of course, within hours of young Pipers spit combing baby Trigs hair, there were 11 videos (as of midnight) on YouTube commemorating the moment. Maybe its the tech background of me and my husband but we noticed immediately that 10 of the 11 were captured by someone videotaping their TV! Shaky video and all! Heres a good example, where you can even see the glare of the TV screen September 4th, 2008, 12:44 am · posted by Gadgetress

Piper Palin licks away the cowlick. . . awwww
Ze-ro! Ze-ro! Ze-ro!
My wife and I saw her do that. We both laughed and my wife thought it was adorable.
I enjoyed her diva waving (like the beauty contestants do).. she looks like a miniature version of her mother!
All the kids are beautiful - and Palin - well what can I say - except “Job well done girl!”
I’m not the kind of guy to go awwwwwwwwww but, well...awwwwwww. She was absolutely adorable. I loved also when Sarah talked about her children, Piper goaded her sister into standing up so she could wave. Too cute!
I loved this. She reminds me of Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird.
Cool. Thanks RonDog!!!
The entire audience saw that, I heard the awwwwwww as Palin was speaking. Cutest moment of the entire election!
Im not the kind of guy to go awwwwwwwwww but, well...awwwwwww.You are not alone. :o)She was absolutely adorable.

Andrew Romano
ANCHORAGE, Alaska--Here at the Peanut Farm restaurant in Anchorage they are eating up Sarah Palin's words with more gusto than the huge steaks they sling.
When they cut away to a shot of little Piper, Palin's 6-year-old, stroking the head of her napping baby brother Trig, people here laughed so hard, the guy at the bar next to me wheezed in his burrito and started crying...
I thought Piper was sooo cute. You could see how the family just passed the baby from one to another as if they had been doing it for years.
Did anyone catch the moment at the Airport? John was giving the errant daughter and her errant boy friend some encouragement and advice -
Sarah and The First Dude were watching. They both had proud mama and papa bear smiles on their faces.
The First Dude put his Arm around Sarah and she leaned in to the hug and their eyes met and they both smiled.
This wasn’t staged but just natural. It showed that at home the First dude is Top Dog - on The road Sarah America has the stage.
Behind every great woman is a self confident Man.
My daughter is Down Syndrome so I feel an extra tug at my heart over adorable baby Trig. The screen got really blurry when I saw Paige do that. G-d bless the Palin family.
De nada. :o)
Even DH thought it was cute. We both agree, Piper is the Palin kid to watch. I liked her running around the stage, telling McCain and Mom where to look in the audience. Hmmm...wonder how old she is? I have a gs...maybe they could meet at a hockey match? Having lunch at Tailgater’s??
Thanks for the post! That is the cutest thing in the whole world!
Here is a delightfully haptic sibling moment from last night’s speech.
Just goes to show Ladies, it is never too young to teach the value of Mother’s Spit.
