Giuliani gave a perfect speech to warm up the audience and introduce the candidate Agreed. Rudy gave a great speech. Kudos to him as well.

Yes, a female Ronald Reagan. She not only spoke up for small town America, I think the best line of night where she said she isn't going Washington to please the media but to serve the country. I thought then and there we won the election! What I saw in the hall was contagious and infectious enthusiasm I've seen only Reagan bring out in people. She rallied the base and reached out to the vast middle of the country, to people who live in small towns the liberal elite dismisses as flyover country people. Trust me, the polls don't really capture what happened tonight. It changed the dynamic of the entire campaign!

I saw that. It was precious. I hope someone caught it. That baby...the media has gone on and on about her leaving him. Every time I have seen her lately he has been near, in someone's arms.

She is an Amazon. A Wonder Woman.
In fact, she even looks like Lynda Carter.
God bless her and her family.

1. She can deliver natural and biting satire in a funny way: parfum of The Simpsons, pararphrasing her speech here: When they haul the styrofoam pillars off Obamas stage
. what is left that is real? Grace and charm rolled together into Jeff Foxworthy in a skirt!

Well, again tonight, Keith Olberman displayed his vast historical ignorance. Remember, last night he tried to diss Senator Lieberman's reference to George Washington's Farewell Address warnings about the "spirit of Party," by denying that this is what Washington warned about.
Tonight, the first words out of his mouth after Governor Palin's remarkable speech were, well as Abraham Lincoln said, "Well, for those who like that sort of thing, I should think it is just about the sort of thing they would like."
The only problem with Olberman's snide recitation of Lincoln is that, according to the Illinois Historical Society's web site, Lincoln never said that.
Perhaps Olberman might want to just stick to sports reporting or Far Left political pandering and leave our brilliant former leaders out of it.

She is Senator Obamas opponent. I wish there were "criss-cross" debates between the candidates for President and the opposing candidates for Vice President. Obama would get the world's shiniest time-piece.

She will be a great President in four years, and Hillary 2012 will be dead in the water. Mark my words.

Ill bet Mitt, Huck and Rudy all saw any chance of the Presidency fade before their eyes.Maybe so, but they love their country like we do, and I bet if any of them shed a tear at that realization, it was a tear of joy at who gets to take her place.
Lord, keep her safe.

I'd venture to guess that she won an awful lot of people into her following with her speech tonight, especially WOMEN.
She's got my vote!

from another thread - this comment by Sourcery...
Sarahs star power may soon exceed Obamas. She is Margaret Thatcher, Sarah Connor and Princess Diana, all in one package.
...led to this reply which I want to spread far and wide... this could be a winner...

Great observation - Great T-shirt idea!
This list on the front...
Margaret Thatcher +
Sarah Connor +
Princess Diana...
and on the back of the tee-shirt
= SARAH PALIN

I’m scanning the radio and callers are going bonkers. Even Jim Bohanen (sp) thinks she’s a great choice. She is definately POTUS material ...

Gee, I wonder where she learned that? I mean everyone knows that Sarah Palin hasn’t had any time to mother her children.

Great assesment. It was a good night all in all.
I won’t lie, I am concerned about the kids.
But on the other hand, my great grandma was a huge force in the sufferage movement. It mattered, to her great grand daughter, which would be me. I don’t see that my grandmother or father suffered (she raised him).
If this is the real deal... the ancestors of this family will some day say...”Way to go!”

So my husband has it right. I’ve been critical of Palin until tonight. She pretty much blew me away. She is the next generation, and her time is now.
I’ll say a prayer for her children that they will understand the sacrifice their mother is making for their country and future. Their mother is going to war.
