Nervous MSM Suggests McCain Scrap Sarah [references FR]
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Imagine it's a few days before the Dem convention. In a big—BIG—surprise, Barack Obama names Rhode Island congressman Patrick Kennedy his vice-presidential running mate. You're a partisan Republican. Do you?:

* a. demand that Obama drop Kennedy from the ticket; or * b. sit back and enjoy the, uh, ride.

I'm guessing the great majority of red-blooded Republicans would answer 'b.' Why wouldn't you want a weak link on the opposing ticket? So what kind of scare has Sarah Palin has put into the MSM that various of its members, like Jack Cafferty, are floating the notion that McCain should consider dropping Palin? I subscribe to the view of the Palin candidacy that Peggy Noonan wrote about today. The headline sums it up well: A Clear and Present Danger To the American Left.

I’d go with *c. Laugh my ass off then sit back and enjoy the ride.

That's exactly what I did when the Obamination picked Joe "Biden my Time".

ok, so here’s the fr mention:

Examples of the MSM sink-Sarah phenomenon :

The totally-in-the-tank for Obama Us Magazine, ran a poll today asking whether Palin should step down. According to a poster at Free Republic, the mag [owned by big Obama donor Jann Wenner] took the poll down after the results were overwhelmingly against Palin’s withdrawal.

Also, as far as subscribing to Peggy Noonan’s view, the author is half a step behind due to an Open Microphone capture of Noonan showing her true colors.

Basically, the MSM is jumping the shark. Let them. Middle America will see through it.

Well of course you would.

I was thrilled when my choices for the Democrat and Republican Vice President races both came in first. I picked Palin because she can do far more to help McCain win then any other candidate.

And I picked Biden for the same reason. Obama-Clinton was a definite worry. Obama-Biden is a dream come true. Years of experience at being wrong. How could we do better? Yes Biden, will maximize the likelihood of a McCain win. From our perspective - Biden's a real "winner".

That half-step-behind author is me. Governs=Finkelstein. And you’re right: I hadn’t heard about the open mic incident and should have. I’ve removed the Noonan reference from the original NB article.

The kind of response Palin has generated from the media hacks makes me think of what it would have been like to the KKK in the early 1900’s if someone had picked a black man for VP.

THE MEDIA = THE KKK of politics.

Actually, if Barry had picked Patches, I would
c.praise God for showing once again that (1) He loves conservatives and wants them to be happy and (2) He has a sense of humor.

Then what is it that prevents you from blowing open wide the Obama Birth Certificate Forgery scandal?

The MSM is focused on DNA testing over the pregnancy of 2 women where it proves to be mathematically impossible for their contention. Why can’t you go after something where there’s enough factual evidence that the judge has not thrown out the case yet? I simply do not understand what it is that holds reporters back from publishing fact-based material.

So Peggy goes out and writes an article about the bubble she lives in and how great the Palin pick could be (or not), and then 24 hours later she’s caught on a hot mic already saying it’s over.

Nice job Peggy. What a moron she is.

Wow, I'm suuprised that they didn't just fake the poll, like liberals usually do.

Obama announced Biden and we all laughed and got out our copies of Bartlett's Quotes

My first post on that topic was that Obama just lost the election. Never crossed my mind to help them select a better candidate.
