WASHINGTON - Rep. Barney Frank is among the first Democrats to publicly say Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s family background, including the pregnancy of her unwed teenage daughter, should be fair game for campaign discussion.

"They’re the ones that made an issue of her family," Frank, D-Mass., said Tuesday in a telephone interview with The Associated Press.

I think Barney Frank's argument boils down to this: If a single one of those people experiences a life event which is not in keeping with the standard conservative values (ex. if any one of them has sex before marriage) then ALL conservative social values have been proven to be to a joke, and everyone in the country must therefore bow down before the vastly superior Liberal values (which are no values at all).
