Putting aside Barack Obama's pious statements about family being "off limits", let us not forget that in every one of his major campaigns, Obama has benefited from information on opponents' family affairs leaking out via the media.
In 2004, his surrogates in the Chicago media managed to get George Ryan's sealed divorce records unsealed in 2004, causing Ryan to drop out of the race.
Later, when Ryan was replaced on the ticket by by Alan Keyes, surprise! it was revealed that Keyes's teenaged daughter Maya was a homosexual.
So is this just a coincidence that Sarah Palin's family was viciously slimed within 72 hours of her being picked as the VP candidate? Not likely. What we're seeing here is standard operating procedure from team Obama.
And it stinks to high heaven.
I'm sick of apologizing for the GOP candidates. Surprisingly enough, they're human and have human problems. Obama, on the other hand, is the media's golden idol who can do no wrong--even when he does.
Obama and his cretinous minions in the media need to be utterly and completely defeated in November.

I wonder if folks realize that Obama is reliving history. Wasn’t it a wanna be messiah who had his thugs burn the Reichstag “on the down low”, and then use it as pretext for his own ascendency?

Somebody with better knowledge of Chicago politics than I could help me with this name. Didn’t Obama use his political connections to blow a seasoned black woman out of the running for the Illinois state senate seat? Kinda like Hillary did to Nita Lowey in NY.

That was Alice Palmer. Obama knocked ALL of his primary opponents (including her) off the ballot by challenging their signatures on their petitions to run.
IOW, he won his seat not by letting the voters choose, but by playing the system so he could run unopposed.
I think the McCain lawyers should find out who posted that piece on Daily Kos insisting that Sarah is not Trig’s mother. If it traces back to anyone connected to Obama, that would be very useful to know.
A poster on another site claims the author is a high-level Obama advisor. I have no idea if this is true, but again, it is time to find out.
Exactly, the Obama/Axelrod sleaze machine are past masters at sliming opponents families, they specialize in it, that is what they do.
Obama said the same pap yesterday about leaving the Palin Family alone that he did about the Ryan Family in 2004.
Meanwhile they were feeding the Tribune all of the gory details from the Ryan’s divorce, this is no accident it is their stock in trade.
