Drive-Bys Scramble to Destroy Her (Rush Predicts the Assault on Palin)
RushLimbaugh.com ^ | 8/29/2008 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 09/02/2008 1:17:46 PM PDT by mojito

....Let's see if they apply all of the platitudes to Sarah Palin that they have applied to Hillary Clinton. We know damn well they're not. Right now the Drive-Bys -- and they're not going to be able to help themselves -- are scouring. They're looking as hard as they can, they're conducting opposition research.

The Drive-Bys are trying to come up with talking points for Obama. They are! You may laugh about that. The Drive-Bys are trying to come up with anything negative on her they can that they can pass to the Obama campaign. You doubt me? Do you understand that members of the Drive-Bys were cheering every night this week at that convention? Some Chicago reporter covering the Illinois delegation was standing up and applauding. Last night, I'm told a whole section of media was standing up and applauding. So I'm telling you, they're digging for dirt right now on Sarah Palin....

You know, she has her fifth baby at 44, and it's Down syndrome. I hate saying this, I really do, but I'm going to make you a prediction. It isn't going to be long before members of the Drive-Bys or the Democrats or their spokesman start talking about how irresponsible she was to get pregnant at 44. Yes, they can. Yes, they can! I predicted to you earlier that their attempted destruction of Sarah Palin has a greater potential of destroying them, and that kind of comment, they are totally capable of making that....

They wouldn't think twice about that, as a means of turning the whole thing around to maintain the stature of pro-choice. You watch. (interruption) You want to bet me? What do you want to bet? (interruption) They will go there. Snerdley does not believe that they will go there.

If Palin answers questions about her one meeting with pitchfork Pat will the haloed one respond to questions about his 15 year association with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn? I think that’s a fair request.

I have come across a blog that labels her "baby factory who apparently doesn't even believe in birth control."

The left would never dare call a unwed mother of eight children by eight different men and who is on welfare a "baby factory who apparently doesn't even believe in birth control." But, it is pc to slam a married woman who with her husband supports their five children without government assistance? I cannot believe more Dim shepple don't see the contempt their supposed party has for them with each hate-filled utterance they heap on Palen.

Obama won’t say anything bad about an unmarried pregnant teenager because it describes his own mother.

Character matters - this is not good character:

Trig Paxon Van Palin was born on April 18, and Palin went back to work three days later.

“There is no reason to believe a woman can’t do it with a growing family,” she said. “My baby will not be at all or in any sense neglected.”

The hatred , venom and viciousness spewing out of these people that are trying to destroy her is disgusting.

Whats of greater concern to me is I feel fully capable of seeing and raising their hatred.

I'm long past being able to articulate the degree of my dislike for leftists in the media, politics & academia.

...Palin, then the mayor of the small town of Wasilla, was wearing a Buchanan button during a Buchanan visit to Alaska.”

And she's responded by saying she would wear any campaign's button as a show of respect for the visit.

Copies of her voter registration going back through this period were released by the McCain campaign earlier. I have a copy. It shows she was a registered Republican throughout.

Rush said today he thought these Palin attacks would backfire 10 times worse than the Wellstone memorial, I hope he is right.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota (CNN) — The partisan tone of the memorial service for the late Sen. Paul Wellstone stirred anger Wednesday in some Republicans, political consultants and radio talk show hosts who say some of the comments and behavior were inappropriate.

Democrats defended the nature of the service, but they also apologized to anyone who might have been offended.

Minority Leader Trent Lott, R-Mississippi, was booed Tuesday night when he entered Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota for the service. Scattered boos also greeted independent Gov. Jesse Ventura, who Wednesday lashed out at Democrats for what he called a “political rally.”

Vin Weber, a former congressman from Minnesota, lambasted Democrats for what he called a “complete, total absolute sham.”

“To them, Wellstone’s death, apparently, was just another campaign event,” he told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

I don't think I've ever seen the press be so openly partisan. In past elections I've been surprised at what they get away with, but this cycle it's appalling.

It's like they are running out of time, and absolutely must win at any cost.

If Obama wins, the press will be rigidly controlled for the next election. if McCain wins, he won't do anything to these partisan reporters, and they'll do it again and make his presidency miserable.

This election is going to be worse than 2000 in terms of shenanigans.

So true. As I watch the Axelrod minions on MSNBC and CNN, I see fear in their eyes and hear desperation in their voices.

MSM and the Obama leftists never saw this coming. They have been blindsided by McCain’s brilliant strategy in choosing Palin, and keeping it a secret until late in the campaign.

The McCain campaign people have pulled off a Pearl Harbor on the Axelrod boys. It is a stunning move!

People - stay strong! We are all united now, unlike we’ve been in a very long time.

The RATs have not been able to secure the Presidency with a simple majority in votes in over 31 years (1976 ‘Jimmy’ Carter).

The radicalized elements of the opposition will ensure that this trend continues - but we MUST BE VIGILANT AND FORCEFUL in securing our VICTORY IN NOVEMBER!

Obama’s problem is there is that sort of give and take risk associated with pretty much all their silly witch-hunt issues with her.

Friday people were warning, regarding her experience, that the Obama camp doesn’t want to go there. But they foolishly did.

There seems to be a lot of foolishness or possible naked stupidity in their camp.

The more they attack Palin, the more middle America will identify with her. She is the dems/libs worst nightmare, and they’re desperate. Attacking her will make voters mad and turn them off Obama.

Look closely at the face of liberalism folks. See the hate filled countenance gleefully raking the muck while sacrificing what little standards they still possess to their god called liberalism. They look at themselves with dismay and yet cannot stop themselves. Some begin to slow their march to the cliff but the impetus of the crowd carries them forward.

Pity them.... "forgive them for they know not......."
