Please see our campaign's response to Barack Obama's remarks that his experience as a candidate is equal to Governor Palin's executive experience:
"For Barack Obama to argue that he's experienced enough to be president because he's running for president is desperate circular logic and it's laughable. It is a testament to Barack Obama's inexperience and failing qualifications that he would stoop to passing off his candidacy as comparable to Governor Sarah Palin's executive experience managing a budget of over 10 billion dollar dollars, and more than 24,000 employees." ---Tucker Bounds, spokesman John McCain 2008
Barack Obama Said That He Had More Executive Experience Because Of The Size Of His Campaign. CNN's ANDERSON COOPER: "And Senator Obama, my final question, some of your Republican critics have said you don't have the experience to handle a situation like this. They've in fact said that Governor Palin has more executive experience as mayor of a small town and as governor of a big state of Alaska. What's your response?"
OBAMA: "Well, my understanding is that Governor Palin's town of Wasilla has I think 50 employees.
We've got 2,500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. You know, we have a budget of about three times that just for the month. So I think that our ability to manage large systems and to execute I think has been made clear over the last couple of years." (CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360 Degrees," 9/1/08)
McCain and his strategists have got to be patting their own backs for the decision to pick Palin.
For months McCain has been hammering Obama about his lack of experience. So what does McCain do-----he picks a relatively inexperienced running mate. And now the Democrat sympathizers in the mainstream media are asking Obama to compare his experience to that of Palin’s.
An absolutely brilliant political maneuver by McCain!!!!!!.
Obama will have a hard time blaming this one on an overly zealous staffer (although, if he was reading from a teleprompter during the interview...).

Why is Obambi focused on running against Palin instead of against McCain? Hmmm?

Besides the fact that the Rats nominated a person of Obambi’s experience as their presidential candidate, remember that the Rats last cycle nominated John Edwards-—JOHN EDWARDS-—as their VP candidate!
John Edwards was what . . . a trial lawyer and a first-term Senator with part of a term under his belt-—and he would not even have been reelected from his home state, had he run.
So what’s laughable here is that the Rats have anything at all to say about experience, much less the experience necessary to be VP.
But if Obambi wants to run against Palin, knock yourself out. And he should agree to debate her on national tv, as well.
I was thinking something like that... Why would Obama want to defend himself against this.... it does nothing but lower Obama --- or raise the importance of Gov. Palin
I am also thinking that CNN was once referred to as the Clinton News Network. Maybe it still is.
His, um, answer was, um, pathetic and , um, laughable!
Um, his experience to be, a, President, um, is that he, um has been running for the, um, office since he was, um, sworn in as a, um, Senator!
He is so ill-prepared and dense that if we had a non-biased press he wouldn’t ever have been elected a Senator in the first place!

I wonder if Obama knows what a Circular E is. That would be a good “whats the price of a gallon of milk” question.
Obama's not qualified for a minimum wage position at Dairy Queen that would require cash handling. (Most American teenagers would be more qualified for the job than Obama).
In other words, Obama, is not qualified to handle any position dealing with the American Taxpayers money.
Of course, Obama isn't qualified to be Commander in Chief either.

Well you must hold an executive position....one in government or one in the private sector. I suppose one could the CEO of a household...but Palin has been there longer. One could run a buisness and have to make decisions...uh-oh...Palin has been there and Obama has not. One could exectute civic decisions if one were executive over a city, town, or incorporated municipality.....uh-oh...Palin has him there. One could be executive over a state...uh-oh....Palin has him there.
She has made executive decisions as to whether to pull the trigger on 'this or that' Boone and Crockett moose.
Now, Commander-in-chief....uh-oh...well Palin is Cammander of the Alaska State National Guard and has made more trips to Iraq than Obama.
Am I missing something I do not understand about the definition Obama uses to REDEFINE the term EXECUTIVE?
This is hilarious. Candidates don’t run their campaigns — that’s what they have campaign managers for. ROFLMHO!!!!!
Obama jumped the shark on this one. Now he is is in a losing p!ssing contest with McCain’s VP. He made a HUGE mistake here. The media could smell blood in the water with this one - doubt it - but possible.
