McCain Camp Response to Obama's Remarks on Palin's Experience
Time ^ | Sept. 2, 2008 | Tucker Bounds

Posted on 09/02/2008 9:33:25 AM PDT by FocusNexus

"For Barack Obama to argue that he's experienced enough to be president because he's running for president is desperate circular logic and it's laughable. It is a testament to Barack Obama's inexperience and failing qualifications that he would stoop to passing off his candidacy as comparable to Governor Sarah Palin's executive experience managing a budget of over 10 billion dollar dollars, and more than 24,000 employees." - Tucker Bounds, spokesman John McCain 2008

Barack Obama Said That He Had More Executive Experience Because Of The Size Of His Campaign.

GOVERNOR Palin has been governor for two years with an 80% approval rating, and many accomplishments during her tenure. Must mean she does catch on quick.

What are Obama's accomplishments -- and he is running for PRESIDENT?

McCain, you idiot! Stop falling into the same argument as the Democrats about comparing Governor Palin to Obama. Go back to comparing your record and accomplishments to Obama. It worked for most of July and August, helping you to make inroads in the polls.

I strongly disagree. As long as it’s Obama and the Democrats making the mistake of equating Obama with Palin, let them do so, and make them pay the price for their idiocy. To those in the middle (the ones who matter in this election,) it will be quite obvious that the Republicn #2 is more qualified than the Dem #1.

Sorry, but I think you’re wrong. McCain will no doubt continue to showcase his own record, but he also needs to respond to Obama’s histrionics and absurd claims regarding Palin and experience.

The experience issue is a gift from idiots, and it would be a mistake not to open that gift and use it against them. There’s an absolutely legitimate argument that the VP of the McCain ticket is demonstrably more experienced than Obama himself. Highlight it. Showcase it.

Ha! hOlyman claims he has executive experience because he is running a big campaign organization. Except he’s not really “running” the organization. Unless he can prove he has made the editorial decisions on commercials, made the ad buys, their scope and the markets, he’s only taking credit for organizational routine.

Exactly!
Do not let Obambi set the terms of the debate.
These are still the Wile E. Coyote democrats. They can’t resist showing how ‘smart’ they are.

The following information should be given to anyone that questions her credentials:

Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. It’s on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.

As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden's.

She's also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security's counterterrorism plans.

Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country's defense. Given Alaska's proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we don't even know about.

Great snappy comeback to The Chosen One’s stupid remarks.

The idiot says “Governor Palin’s town of Wasilla has I think 50 employees. We’ve got 2,500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. You know, we have a budget of about three times that just for the month. So I think that our ability to manage large systems and to execute I think has been made clear over the last couple of years.”

Moron. Yeah. Keep talking about how she was a mayor of a small town. That only makes her a heroine of mythic proportions.

She goes from small town USA to a $10 billion budget.

He’s only making her more relatable to the average American.

Awesome!

I can’t wait until they discuss this in the 10/2 debate.

These outrageous attacks on the governor of the 57th state of the Union show Obama’s desperation.

Well I’m sure they couldn’t resist, Afterall Obama finally got some experience to mention.

Boy the democrats really got their hair on fire today. It wasn’t that long ago that they were swooning over the prospect of McCain switching parties. Now they have pulled out all the stops to discredit a woman that has more executive experience than both their winning and losing candidate. What liberal blather will you come up next?

The other detail NoBama misses is that he throws away his entire budget. He doesn't have anything to show for it. It is a temporary position that takes money from donators and spends it all. A Mayor or Governor has to manage a budget. They have to show that they got something tangible for the money spent.

Got a nice chart of Obama / Palin comparisons on this thread:

“Sarah-cuda” vs. “Barry-cuda”

Actually thread title is....

Questions surround Palin's background check

I wonder what Axlerod is doing if Obama is running the Campaign?

Talk about pathetic, Obama was explaining how nice it will be to have Biden in meetings to explain Foreign policy to him. Sarah wouldn't have someone like that if McCain was gone...But then again, if McCain was the president, he would already know what to do and not need to depend on wrong way Biden.

But then again, assuming Biden is somewhere else, what is Obama going to do? What ever that is, it would work for Sarah too, I am sure.
