Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - Tuesday 9/2/08
The EIB Network ^ | September 2, 2008 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 09/02/2008 8:16:22 AM PDT by TSchmereL

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

"We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless You, Rush Limbaugh."

My mom was a huge Hillary supporter, and then when Biden was picked as Obama’s VP, she finally decided that it would probably be “okay” to vote for that ticket because she likes Biden.

Now, after Palin’s pick, she’s voting for McCain-Palin.

In reference to what Rush just said about women voting for Hillary--I think there are many women in America who are not politically oriented and who might well decide to vote McCain/Palin just to vote for a woman for high office.

I agree. Funny how the left thinks it's OK for blacks to vote for The One simply because he's half black, but they think it is horrible that some women could vote for Palin simply because of her gender. It's only unacceptable when it goes against their agenda.

As Rush has said (and a whole lot of us FReepers have said) this is going to backfire on the Obamites and the media elites bigtime.

I agree, and I sure hope we're all right!

Did you see (I think it was yesterday) where Nagin had to give credit to the Federal and STATE (ok he also said local) governments who were all prepared and ready for Gustav? He didn’t mention Jindal by name but he had to allude to it.

Quite a change out of him from 3 years ago.

Thanks. I noticed your screen name. Do you use a machine for the quilting? If so, what brand? I’m a quilter, of sorts, too and I’m curious.

Thanks to all of you who answered me with help. The more I thought about it the more I realized that those I wanted to send it to would just refuse to listen to Rush even if I dared them too! It’s a bunch of hard core liberals!

Just wanted to thank you all for your kindness! :)

It appears from your posts that you actually have applied what you learned as well, as you always have proper grammar.

Thank you, IMPR! I do try. "If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain."

This should be posted in every newsroom in America, IMO.

Isn’t it interesting that McCain found the one person who could pull in Hillary Democrats and Conservatives? Honestly, who else would have had that draw? Granted, the Hillary Democrats are voting on mainly gender, which is something no one can help (absent an indepth surgical procedure), however; McCain managed to find a pick that would be attractive to the maximum number of people in a otherwise disillusioned election year!

I give major kudos to McCain.

Except that what's going down the drain is a lot darker in color than that in the picture you posted. LOL :)

“I am Catholic and I will certainly not place my daughter in exile if she happens to get pregnant. Of course, we are teaching her NOT to have premarital sex, so hopefully she will follow her teachings. (praying as I post this...)”

DBP Alert.

Ker, I am not Catholic but I got to see what the Catholic teaching was over 40 years ago. If I recall it was no premarital sex. Is that still true? I was kind of amazed at Pelosi doing Pope stuff on MTP. It amazes me that Kennedy is a Catholic still. Seems like you can be a Catholic but not believe a thing Catholics believe in.

I know if my daughter came home from school pregnant I would not be running for VP. My daughter is too important. I agree with Rush blasting the press although today I heard a bit of moral equivalence.

If I get my work done I am going to listen to the 24/7 with the girls today and see what they say. The good thing it allows an opportunity to talk about a subject that needs constant reinforcement.

I agree with those that say McCain should have had a VP pick that does not go here...it is kind of like leaning over the plate then wondering why you get “hit-by-pitch.”

Others, I expect to be flamed for this. Save it. I have to get back to work.

Now that the shows over, I wanted to remind you...

There was once a young woman who was with child, also engaged and not yet married, who’s beloved thought of spiriting her away lest she be stoned to death because of it.

Her name was Mary, her son was Jesus.

I quilt by hand, and do all right as long as I don’t try anything too complicated. I like being able to quilt while I watch TV.

There’s a lot of women that are thinking just like my mother. For one, she told me that the senior citizen ladies who work in the school cafeteria that she works for in New Hampshire are thinking the same thing, and that they are all livid about the media scrutiny against Bristol Palin.

I agree. I was even able to convince my 73yo mom to vote for the first time since 1980. Hopefully I can convince a few more less than likely to vote aunts to follow her lead.
