Its the judgement of Sarah Palin to hide this information from US.
She is responsible totally for hiding it from the public when she is being vetted for the 2nd highest public office in the Land.
Its not about sex or religion.

The only “scandal” is the DOP bloggers’ involving the Palins’ kids in all this in the first place—not just a seventeen year old girl who should have known better—but a four-month old babe and a not yet born grandchild. That’s what burns me up. How dare they?
My understanding is McCain and Palin knew about it for sometime. Seems the hometown in Alaska considered it an “open secret”
But that's not what's driving this thread. There are people who want Palin to step down. This is a political football. I hope she shows them up. I hope we have 16 years of McCain/Palin.

It is a given that sneaking out can happen. But if that happens you can honestly say you did your best. I bugs me that people who let their daughters go out with boys alone cant fathom that they could and do have sex. Certainly there is the potential. Keep them separated. Thats what my pastor says.

I think McCain and Palin have done this election a great disservice by putting themselves — and US — in a very difficult position.
Even if the media could control themselves (HAH!!!) there is very little chance they will be able to focus on Palin’s ability to be VP, and not drool and put the most horrendous, salacious spin on this whole thing. The whole family has to go through this, remember. On top of the pressures of mom running for the 2nd highest office in the land.
And Palin has so much going on now she cannot help but be distracted from campaigning, and then the job of VP should she be fortunate to get it. And, God forbid, President, should McCain not make it through his term.
It simply should not have been her time this time... with a new challenged baby to care for, and a pregnant underage daughter... I mean, honestly, don’t y’all think her plate’s a little full without being the second most powerful person in the most powerful nation on the planet, with a war to win and an economy to energize? And is it fair to her family? I mean, seriously, think about it. No disrespect to a fantastic woman with a lot of potential, but... let’s get real.
Re: Olbermann - right on! These people are vile beyond belief. They’d have her branded just like Hester Prynne in The Scarlet Letter, albeit, for different reasons. Real tough aren’t they, piling on a seventten year old girl. I can’t possible convey how angry I am about this. I feel a spiritual bond with the Palin family that knows no boundaries. I love them. And this is one of John McCain’s finest hours.

To me it is NOT OK for a teen to have sex and get pregnant. Parents are responsible. The Palins should go back to Alaska and work on family values.

OK. I take the sin of fornication very seriously. In fact, I’m chassidic. And despite all I could do, my daughter got herself up the duff. Is that my fault? Not directly. I tried to raise her right, but obviously made mistakes.
Is it Sarah Palin’s fault her daughter did this? At least she knows the father, who apparently intends to make it right. So this is a non-issue as to Palin’s fitness to serve as VP, but the Dems are trying to stampede “the religious right,” whom they don’t understand at all. The fact that they used her children in this misguided attempt is appalling. What low blow is next?
