Personally I think the RATs have very little room to legitimately bark up this tree..OF COURSE THEY WILL.
this is the party of celebrities who have many children & never marry (Goldie & Kurt?), the “single” moms having & adopting kids.... the gay couples deciding to be moms and moms.... Affiars seem to be the mark of honor in the party anymore.
It will be very very cool to have this young couple marry & have their first child & Palin’s first grandchild in the second month of their term. No this isn’t the correct order we have in our minds for the course of events & the social propriety of Judea Christian flow...but in the biblical stories of old there was NO ceremony.. the couples linked & LINKED.. and were considered married.
I know that my best friend in junior high was a birth control pill baby. It happens. Often.
Of course, they WON'T.
At least this baby will have the RIGHT TO LIVE. It's gonna be a tough road for these kids. Prayers for them both.

On the one hand we have a woman that raised and encouraged her daughter to take responsibility for her actions.
On the other hand we have a man that would encourage his daughter to run from the problem by having an abortion.
Decisions, decisions, boy thats a tough one... NOT! If everyone that got pregnant or got someone pregnant before marriage voted for Palin, she’d be in by a landslide.
Her daughter is an excellent example for teenagers to see and hear about. A mature teenager that finds themselves in this situation talks with their parents about it and they work through it. They don’t just up and murder the baby that didn’t do anything wrong. jmo

Yeah, if she got pregnant the day he was born and that doesn't even really add up to 5 months, unless he was born April 1st.
I was just saying that all over the blogs, people are treating her pregnancy like a criminal act or something. You can read my posts and get a better understanding of what I was discussing.

35 years ago today I married my wife.
Guess what? She was 4 months pregnant at the time.
This announcement today adds to my own assessment of the character of Sarah Palin. She walks the walk...
Would she prefer that her daughter had done things in a different order? Yes, she would.
Will she unconditionally love the new son-in-law and the grandchild that is coming into the life of their family? Without a doubt!
Congratulations Todd & Sarah, kids sometimes stop listening to mom & dad for a while. Deep values run in through generations. Your kids will be fine. Fight on!
I find it amazing that one so prissy would use the “WTF” bomb.
I think you miss the point. As I am reading the posts, people are simply acknowledging the fallen human condition-not condoning it.
However, this family is now being publicly raked over the coals by some because the daughter erred.
She is accepting the consequences of her actions, though.
She is not covering up her actions by killing her baby.
Her mother did not put herself or her public image first by dragging her off to an abortion mill-something I have seen repeatedly.
The girl sinned. Who among us is without sin? Let him cast the first stone.
At least she is not committing another, more grievous sin by killing the baby.
She is gonna have to grow up and get tough really fast. I think we ought to pray for strength for this family, and leave the girl alone.
