Alaska- In light of recent media reports attempting to connect Republican VP nominee Gov. Sarah Palin with controversial historian and Nazi sympathizer Pat Buchanan, VIN News has learned that the Alaska governor has demonstrated strong support for Alaskas Jewish community. In particular, Gov. Palin signed a resolution in June of 2008 recognizing Israels 60th anniversary and the unique relationship between Alaska and the Jewish State, especially the fact that Alaska Airlines played a critical role in the rescue of 40,000 Yemenite Jews in 1948 and 1949.
Chabad of Anchorages Rabbi Yosef Greenberg had this to tell VIN News:
Gov. Palin signed this resolution in the presence of Alaskas Jewish community leaders. This bill was orchestrated by members of the Alaska Legislation and heavily supported by Speaker of the House, Representative John Harris
Gov. Palin has established a great relationship with the Jewish community over the years and has attended several of our Jewish cultural gala events. Gov. Palin also had plans to visit Israel with members of the Jewish community, however, for technical reason, the visit has not occurred yet.
I was personally impressed by Gov. Palins remarks of hope and faith when she gave birth to a child with special needs. We all feel that the Governor is a remarkable, energetic, and good person.
Having said that I like to reiterate that As a Lubavitcher rabbi, I would like to note that we do not endorse any political candidate.

I wasn’t aware of Alaska Airlines’ role in the rescue of Yemenite Jews, so thanks to Gov. Palin for that historical info.
Great to know this, thank you for posting!
What is crazy for the Obamanators (have they started to realize it yet??) is that Wexlers whole line of attack legitimates further aggressive inquiries and criticisms into Obamas radical associations!!!
Their only hope was to argue these are irrelevant matters of past associations, lets move on but if Wexler, a leading liberal Democrat attack dog, is out in front saying it is legitimate and relevant to attack Governor Palin for serving as a Mayor welcoming a presidential candidate to her city in 1996, then of course it is legitimate and relevant to examine all of Obamas far more lasting and far more voluntary relationships with a whole host of leftist and Nation of Islam fanatics, etc. etc. She was serving as a gracious public official welcoming a prominent visitor - Obama sought out all kinds of highly dubious characters in his private life and made them part of this life for decades.
If we want dubious and long-standing associations that raise serious questions about a candidate’s character, just look at Obama’s warm affinities for dedicated terrorists Ayers and Dohrn over many years. Obama launched his whole political life in their living room in 1995. Obamamessiah spent 20 years in the church of the hateful ranting Afro-fanatic “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright.
Thanks, Wexler, we will trash your worthless attack and then turn with renewed energy to exposing all of your Obamamessiahs connections and fondness for fanatics, anti-semites, and terrorists.
Hehe.
The Dems are very busy right now....
DIGGING THEIR OWN GRAVE!
“Far be it from this Chabadnik to endorse any candidate who is pro-life, pro-Israel, and would never seek to divide Jerusalem.
I’m just sayin’...”
Thanks for sayin’! I was hoping it would be Cantor for VP, but have to say I’m not disappointed a bit. She’s a ringer! And think of all the pacific salmon she could bring to the next simcha ;)
Could be the mother, depends on whether he is the 'catcher' or the 'pitcher'...
You are a very bad person for posting TWO such repugnant images on one thread. I almost lost my breakfast..... :^)
::Sigh:: Some people sound awfully desperate.
Of course shes pro-Israel, shes a Republican. A far higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats are pro-Israel, both in Congress and in the American population as a whole.
Pat Buchanan isnt a Republican anymore and arguably never was. Hes a Palestinian-loving, America-hating, Israel-hating foreign-hating piece of absolute garbage. The world would be better off if he croaked tomorrow.
Hey, but maybe I shouldn’t be so hard on Pat Buchanan, guys. You know he lost a relative in Auschwitz. Poor guy fell out of a guard tower. :)
....then maybe Obama’s uncle and came and liberated the camp.
Thanks for posting!
You've got that right. The "some people" is the Jewish 'Rat establishment, which fears their loss of control over their "reservation" of Jewish voters, who heretofore had been addicted to the 'Rats, despite the fact that they were always taken for granted. No matter how they've been trying to spin it, the 'Rats are in deep doodoo with the Jewish electorate this year, and their reckless accusations demonstrate just that.
Thank you justiceseeker93 for the ping and Chabad Rabbi for your words.

My thoughts:
I was absolutely appalled and astounded that because the lame-stream-media did not understand what a Bible-believing, non-denomination Bible Church born-again believing Christian is (I’m one of those); they smeared her as if she would be an anti-Israel/anti-Jewish candidate.
Nothing can be further from the truth.
