When the Republicans mocked Barack Obama's decision to speak in an outdoor stadium with Greek columns as an opportunity for Obama to descend to speak to "mere mortals," Washington Post essayist and apparent psychic Philip Kennicott didn't see mockery of hubris. His mind-reading exposed white Republican racists resenting a black man appropriating Greek culture, with its "white temples, white statues, white marble."

And now it seems it`s racist for Republicans to even talk about The One`s qualifications.

Oh Paleeze! No matter what a politician’s color or gender for that matter people can easily sniff out arrogance and an over the top sense of self of another person. Neither are lost on any human and neither is the ability to see the hubris when it rears its ugly head.

Efforts to use race against Obama often have centered on a stark juxtaposition of architectural ideas with Obama's blackness: One cartoon circulating on the Internet shows Obama painting the White House black; the controversial July 21 New Yorker cartoon in which he appeared as a terrorist inside the White House, rendered the Oval Office with precise neoclassical details: an arched alcove, molding and wainscoting.

That was by a liberal cartoonist. He thought he was mocking the GOP's attempts to smear Obama. He just forgot to put the whole thing on an easel with Rush Limbaugh as the cartoonist!

No reason to clue the sheeple, right?

Do they do a test for MSM columnists that their IQs cannot exceed the low double-digits in order to guarantee their employment ?

Except the greek temples and statures weren't white: they were statues of colour

I thought it was pretty bigoted and “racist” of the DemocRATS not to use one of those gray, 12” Stonehenge deals with those two little midget, dancing guys. What? Don’t the DemocRATS like little people?

The author has a right to his opinion no matter how wrong. I have a right to mine in which I think Obamas “Black Liberation Theology” is racist and Marxist.

A little history debunks this cheap shot.

We had a good laugh when Kerry tried to make his plane look like Air Force One. We also had a good laugh when Al Gore bought a house that looked shockingly like the White House. But even funnier was the laugh we had when Al Gore drained a dam for a photo op, and it was during a drought!

Our lampooning of the Barack America Temple was mild.

ANYBODY appropriating Greco-Roman surroundings and poncifying around like a latter-day Julius Caesar would open themselves up to criticism.

That this odd fellow with the odd name and big ears and dodgy heritage had done it is a natural cause for mirth and levity at his expense.

What does he expect? “Ave Obama Caesar! Morituri te salutant!”

Shyeah, right. What odd fellows these Democrats are.

I've never seen such whining from the left. It's immensely entertaining!

And the only thing the constant complaints do when Barry snivels and cries over each taunt is tell us we're hitting the mark.

Black? White? Don't care, what matters is that he's "thin skinned"...

And while we're discussing this, "HEY BARRY, YA STINKING SOCIALIST - WHY DON'T YOU TAKE THE KIDS TO DISNEY WORLD! YOU CAN SAVE ON A PAIR OF THESE:"

Anyone who criticizes The One is a racist. The MSM knows men’s hearts better than God.

I read another board on which the snarkers were calling it the “Pimpcropolis”. How fitting!

The “racist” tag is old and tiresome, don't these people have any new ideas?

Republican racists?

I wonder what he'll say after all the Democrats who pretend they've voting for Obama when a pollster calls or neighbor asks, don't, because they really has no intention of voting for a black guy, ever.

I'll be fascinated to hear how that's the fault of Republicans racists then.

As an aside, something that appears to have dropped off the radar screen and no one has mentioned, is what happened to the mock-up of the fuselage of Air Force One?

What was it for and why was it not used?

Would it also be racist to ask about this?

Bernal's book is not held in high repute today, but it fostered an important debate about the role of racism in classical studies.

Even when the liberals are wrong, they have to be "right" in some way. Okay, so maybe Bernal was wrong, but he still "fostered an important debate." Kind of like "fake but accurate."

From Black Cat Bone - Burning The Flesh Off Modern Art

DON'T BE A TYPICAL WHITE PERSON AND SWOON FOR KFC

IN SOME CITIES IT MAY COST YOU YOUR LIFE

The ivory tower white liberal elite culture critic Philip Kennicott of the Washington Post accidently incites a riot in a Southeast, Washington D.C. neighborhood when he presented a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day lecture on the racial decoding of fried chicken advertising imagery and made the following provacative declaration: "Colonel Sanders, although clearly an old school racist, did, however, understand the importance of interrogating the meaning of black aspirations for a more spicey fried chicken. Al Copeland, who marketed himself to black America as being beyond the old days of fried chicken racism, was merely a tool of Jewish New York City advertising con men who cleverly traded in stereotypes to push corporate profits. A black man in America would have to be insane to eat a racist bucket of Popeyes."
