Just breaking on Fox. Not much info yet. People walking into are hospitals in St. Louis sick, skin turning blue and with breathing problems. Hospitals on Lock down.

Let’s wait 20 minutes....and we’ll know much more. Our media are so adept at doing thes shock stories. And yet, I look a few days ahead and still say: “God, Protect Us”.
St. Anthony’s is here is south St. Louis County. DePaul is in north St. Louis County. They are nowhere near each other. And neither is near East St. Louis. Puzzling.

Whatever they were exposed to did not originate IN the hospital. They have shut down the ventilation system to prevent exposing the rest of the hospital in case the chemical is capable of airborne dispersal.
They are mentioning East St. Louis which is over the border in Illinois from St. Louis, MO. Several people went to one hospital and at least one other person went to another hospital after they were exposed - to what, where, and how - don’t know yet.
So now we can determine the victims all knew each other and were dumpster diving when they came in contact with the hazardous material.

The only thing keeping me from suspecting bioterrorism is the fact that it’s occurring in St. Louis, which I wouldn’t think is a major target area the way DC or Chicago are.

3 patients at each hospital? That in itself is rather odd. If they were exposed together you would think that they would all go to the SAME hospital... Sounding stranger by the minute.
At the risk of sounding racist - East St. Louis has a very high population of African-Americans and a very high crime rate as well. With the proliferation of Radical Islam in our prisons gaining young black male adherents I wonder if there is a connection there. I wouldn’t be surprised if a group of Radical American Muslims would plan an attack of this sort. It is certainly starting to sound suspicious, IMHO.
Copper? Is there a powdered form that these people might have come into contact with in the dumpster?
I was thinking that they had come into contact with cyanide in a dumpster, possibly after it had been thrown away by somebody who chickened out on using it. It was obviously not in its most toxic form. IIRC, the person in Denver who had the cyanide still needed the reagent (if I remember HS chemistry) to really make it toxic on a large scale, although on an individual level, contact with the powder was apparently enough to kill him. Was this possibly a similar situation?
