She would make it kind of hard for us to push the “Obama isn’t ready to be President” angle.

Yes, she sure would.

And it would make it VERY difficult for Dems to challenge her experience since she has more than Obama.

Its a win-win for McCain.

We elect PRESIDENTS, not VP’s, as in the early days of the republic. She will be very effective in disarming the Bloviator Biden. Just wait for the question on abortion.

Why? Palin has actually accomplished things as Governor of Alaska, as opposed to Obama’s non-existent record. She is managing a State. Obama hasn’t managed anything.

Not really, people do not expect the same experience from a VP as they do a President, and I doubt the Obama camp would push the issue. I can already see the next ad now...

“Barack Obama has criticized Sarah Palin’s experience, yet Palin was running a city and working with the people while Obama was writing books... about himself. Who really is lacking the experience?”

On top of this, 16 months as a Governor is much more impressive than 16 months as a Senator.

Not really, I don’t believe.

As far as I was concerned, Hill was not ready either with only one term as an elected official...baking cookies while her hubby enjoyed cigars in the parlor is not the same thing.

McCain is the head of the ticket and who we are really voting for.

and palin will certainly cause some angst among dem women who will vote for a woman at any cost.

IF TRUE, I dodn’t think McCain had it in him to do it.

Counter punch would be she is more qualified.

And even if Obama is in the Senate for 30 years, he still won't be ready or qualified.

I don’t think it will be hard at all.
Obama with no experience will be President.

She will be VP and have four years (or eight) to get ready.

The o’s experience would not have an impact on his voters. THEY just believe in CHANGE - even with an old dim as a running mate.

Well, one big difference is that being gubnor involves executive ability while being senator involves, well, evidently drinking and fooling around.

Yeah, but she would NAIL the feminist vote AND the "right-to-life" vote simultaneously.

Not so. McCain IS ready. McCain can argue that Sarah will learn from him. Also, in choosing a young woman, McCain is setting up a successor-something G.W.B. didn’t do.

No, she wouldn't. She isn't running for President and she has much more experience than the great blowhard obamaosama. She has been governor for two years(other experience before that), she has a son in Afghanistan, she has taken on the greens in Alaska and is immensely popular there, she has pushed for the new gas pipeline and it looks as if it is a done deal. What is not to like about this woman?

One thing is being ready for president. Another thing is being ready to be VICE-president.

No, exactly the opposite. We have the mirror ticket with the young protégé learning during the administration of the master. They have the young protégé being backstopped by the old master. "There's a right way and a wrong way ..."

Disagree. She has more executive experience as a Governor than Obama has as a first term Senator.

Obama has zero executive experience, Governor Palin has been a Mayor and a Governor.

You haven't seen her yet I presume...she will reverse those comments and point out that she (as a VP candidate) has more experience than the oppostion's Presidential candidate!

All that aside, she is a true conservative, pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment (lifelong NRA member), pro-lower taxes, pro-drill here/drill now (and she has knowledge and credibility on that topic), and she will provide us with a very stark contrast to the pompous wind bag known as Joe Blow Biden!

Her history of fighting corruption would be a God-send!

Does this mean that the MSM wouldn’t like her. They don’t seem to care much for honest, uncorruptible types.

No it would not if you looks at the experience he DOES have. Experience working with terrorists and communist rabble rousers does not qualify one to be president of the US. Iran yes, China suure but not the US. It in fact DISqualifies one.
