I'm not too sure how to view this. The guy was rude to the cops but I'm not sure if he was trespassing or not. I think pictures of politicians and donors are newsworthy and if you can't take pictures of them on the public street where can you?

But a large man can verbally assault and intimidate Michelle
Malkin, and the cop just walks away.

Really good strategy, Barry. Pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel.

You DO understand that this sycophantic fawning thing only works if you don't throw the sycophantic fawners in jail, right?

The news crew was doing its job. We can’t have that in Barack’s America. We can only have idiot commentators telling us how wonderful Barack is.

Look at the cop with a huge cigar in his mouth while arresting the reporter. That says it all!

Makes a lot of sense doesn't it. The guy who filmed the attack left a message for Hickenlooper and I don't think ever heard anything back.

The mayor is from Penn. and owns a Brew Pub. How he became
such a wuss escapes me.

What did he do that was rude? I’m a big cop supporter but I don’t see the guy doing anything but being abused.

I was wondering about that... I’ve seen a lot of duplicates esp. this morning, and thought I was losing my mind (like, haven’t I seen this before? LOL)... At least now it makes sense...

“Brown Palace Hotel, a central location for Democratic officials.”

BROWNSHIRTS AT THE BROWN HOTEL....how cute. (eye roll)

KEY ITEM IN ARTICLE:

“Eslocker and his ABC News colleagues are spending the week investigating the role of corporate lobbyists and wealthy donors at the convention for a series of Money Trail reports on ABC’s “World News with Charles Gibson.”

This is why Nazi Pelosi, The Obama Brownshirts and the Democrat Machine PUT THIS GUY IN JAIL!!

UNBELIEVABLE!

I just watched the video... What I really don’t understand is why the cop that put the cuffs on him grabbed him by the throat. There were two officers right there, and the guy didn’t look like he was posing a threat to the officers themselves, at all...

Also, in the beginning of the video the guy is asking the police officer why he was pushing him into the street. He then asks - what’s your problem? Then the cop says, “You’re impeding traffic” - well, DUH you just pushed the guy several times into the middle of the street!

I don’t like bashing cops, but it seems this was WAY over the top... And the one “in charge” munching on his cigar??? How completely unprofessional is THAT? Talk about creating a bad image...

Makes me sad to see these people make a few of the guys I used to know on Denver’s police force look bad like this.

I think this story is a pretty big deal. Sidewalks on public streets are public even if they are on private property. The hotel no doubt owns property out to the center of the road, but an easement is granted to the city for the road and for the sidewalk.

Pushing someone across the street is wrong unless there is a public safety issue. And if an arrest was justified, it should have been made immediately. If this can happen to ABC, the Pajama Media has much to fear.
