The Democrats have to be pretty desperate to have one of their biggest boosters arrested.

They're turning on each other already!

The police will apologize and the rent-a-cop will get fired. If he keeps his mouth shut, he will get a really good job offer from a private security firm.

This was all about keeping identities safe. Some of these people are double-dippers.

Hehehehe. In this case though he probably has a valid complaint. I see a lawsuit in the making. Looks like the DNC was a little upset at being photographed with the lobbyist.

"A producer for ABC News was arrested today"

You have something against this type of investigation?

"Eslocker is investigating the role of corporate lobbyists and wealthy donors at the convention for a series of Money Trail reports on ABC World News."

They should arrest the newsreaders & editors at ABC, not this guy. He was photographing big democrat donors.

I don't know the details but I got to say.The cop was shoving the reporter into ongoing traffic.

I dont even pretend to understand the tactics used to remove people from an area. What the hell was that all about?

"There's a vast difference between his story and the story cops are telling,"

I'll wait to hear the cops' side before making a judgment.

Asa Eslocker was arrested for trespass, interference and failure to obey an lawful order.

What about impersonating a journalist?

What a joke. The "Democraps" who are going to save the "little" people from the evil rich, are filling their coffers from the very self same evil rich! Filthy lying slimey scumbags. They've just got the lying part down better than the Republicans at this time.

My eyes were opened when I was about 15, happened to be watching an interview with two grossly fattened, camel haired coat covered, democrap congressmen, bemoaning in pure mafiosi accents, the pitiful poverty of many Americans, and how they were going to use their powers to make them better off. (about 40 years ago).

Have not been impressed by their work. And now, on visiting D.C., see lots of exotic marble edifices covered by the ill-clad sleeping homeless; honoring the scum who spent taxpayer money building them.

I agree. But it states that it was for a piece on the “Money Trail”. Lobbyists and Wealthy donors. That might have been interesting.

(sigh) Forgive me if this sounds strange, but the ABC guys are right this time. If I didn’t know that it was Denver, I’d think that the video was shot in Berkley, Ithaca, or some other similarly f’d up place.

One might reasonably think that this kind of 'jack-handedness' against what is our 'Free Press' (despite what our opinions of them personally) might jar the senses; a bit; of our MSM. Certainly hope so.

Obama continues to flex his muscle against any and all, who do not follow his story-line. His response is 'typically Leftist' inasmuch as the Left does not tolerate free speech; when it does not match their own. They do not ignore, or take lightly; even the smallest challenge. Hope all good citizens hear alarm bells by Obama responses.

(Am listening to Stanley Kurtz; who is under attack by Obama campaign for his 'reading of the Annenberg papers' and sharing what he has learned re Obama and Bill Ayers.)

This Asa guy seems pretty decent. Of course, that should have nothing to do with the fact that the police were acting like thugs.

I know this is an old story, but I just happened on the video and did a search on www.dogpile.com to see if there was more info on this Asa Eslocker. I read one of his articles from 2006--he quoted "jihadwatch" in it. I went back to dogpile and found this post on FR, so I naturally came to read it.

I was kinda surprised by all the comments. We all obviously can't stand the liberal media, but I've liked Freerepublic for the last 8 years because people on here are good at getting ALL the information. Just because he's got a job with ABC doesn't mean he has to be liberal.

Actually, it would be great if a liberal would have been treated like that at a DNC function--they might realize what they're in for in an Obamanation...
