If Obama wins there won’t be a 2012.

Puuuuuleaze!

You need to go back to propaganda school bucko!

propaganda has to be at least a little believable to be accepted.

You think Obama's gonna nuke this country out of existence do ya?

Sheesh

This country was here before Bill and Hillary an it was here after Bill and Hillary. It was here before Barak obama and it'll be here after Barak Obama.

Us Freadheads, Romneyites, Giulianianians, Hunters, Tancredoans,

I posted the thread, I didn’t write the article. In post #1 I told you what my position was, as far as voting goes this election cycle. I bundled over $40,000 for former Senator Fred Thompson, because he was a common sense, stalwart conservative. I never campaigned for Senator John McCain, but I will vote for him to stop Senator Obama’s rise to power. Everyone here will do what they feel is right, and hopefully the nation will endure.

Well, there’s always this...

It pretty much sums up the way most McCain supporters feel.

“I bundled over $40,000 for former Senator Fred Thompson,”

You did what? I think you better have a review of campaign finance laws and how much a individual may give a candidate.

You never seem to tire of shilling votes for the liberal, leftist GOP.

He doesn’t have the pull or the savvy to be as dangerous as the Clintons. His few deeply held personal opinions are repugnant to mainstream Americans, so he’ll either have to keep hiding them or face massive opposition at every turn.
I’m not saying it wouldn’t be unpleasant, but think of what John Mccain will able to get away with simply because he’s a Republican.

That's a stretch.

But fine.

What this (all these articles showing concern) does is show that there is growing tension and anxiety in the liberal/McCain camp about a SIGNIFICANT number of Conservatives who will go third party or leave the President slot blank.

As it should be.

"Want the Presidency, Mr. McCain? Then, here are your orders from The Base. Follow them. Got it?"

The Japanese would call this 外圧 (gaiatsu), or immense external pressure on something that refuses to change.

Like it or not, those Conservative supporting McCain owe a BIG favor to those Conservatives not supporting McCain because without us, there is no pressure on him or the RINOs to tow the conservative line. We are needed, there can be no doubt about it. Conservatives putting pressure on McCain and scaring the crap out of his campaign aides will be the best thing possible for the Conservatives who are staying with McCain and the GOP for President this year.

After the Saddleback debate, I will be happy to vote for Maverick. He is pro-choice, pro-war, pro-drilling and for cutting spending. All these things are anti with Black Racist Oblack.

Pray for W and Our Troops

Bundling is getting others to contribute. An individual may contribute up to $2,300. I asked others, and they did so. I DID NOT go over my individual limit, so I am fine.

Would you care to explain scripturally where I am off base

No. The bible doesn't speak of embryonic stem cells research. Christians will have to ask God his will. There are 1.2 million abortions in the US annually. Research doesn't kill. Government funded research cultivates 60 already existing cell lines developed by private research. Private research is already largely unregulated in the US and it is going on world wide. It cultivates fertilized eggs that are never going to be used and the already aborted. Researchers might logically be called grave robbers but they are not the murderers, the abortionists are.

The history of modern medicine was written on the stolen bodies of murder victims. The Bible also doesn't speak of autopsies When I ask the Lord to guide me on the issue of autopsies He is all for cutting up the dead to catch the guilty. The dead bodies are worthless without their souls. On embryonic stem cells He is silent. On abortion He is loud and clear. On Osama vs McCain He is loud and clear.

There are degrees of good and evil. I have search my soul and God tells me McCain is a good man, a smart man, a brutally honest man, who loves his country. McCain has accepted Christ and Christ has comforted McCain during 5 years of torture. God tells me Obama joined Trinity because it was politically expediant. Osama changes religions, addresses, names, and proclaimed ideology like a chameleon when it suits his environment. Next year either Osama or McCain will be President.

I understand that sentiment. But I’m in California where McCain doesn’t have a chance anyway. With the introduction of his whacko leftist policies into the GOP platform, I’m having a hard time finding a reason to cast my vote for the pubbies and endorse that behavior. I’ll wait and see who he selects for veep, but as of now, I’m leaning 3rd party.

the political leanings of the VP concerning abortion are largely irrelevant. The only way to meaningfully decrease the number of abortions is to convince people that abortion is a bad idea, not to legislate.

Upon the rocks of such stupid lies the GOP dies.

It cultivates fertilized eggs that are never going to be used and the already aborted.

I noticed that you didn't reference scripture once in your rebuttal, like I had requested.

A fertilized human egg is a person - de facto. This fertilized human egg is keep in a frozen state until ready for use (whether it be implantation into the womb of a woman, or thawed to use in medical research). If it is thawed for medical research then the fertilized egg will at that time die - biblical murder has taken place.

Freezing fertilized eggs for purposes other than eventual transfer into a woman's womb is biblically unethical.

My initial claim - supported by God's word - stands. Embryonic stem cell research is the shedding of innocent blood and is murder. John McCain supports that and will not receive votes from my family because of it.

"McCain’s 22 years in the Navy and 26 years in the Senate is vastly more important than Obama’s 160 days in the Senate and 0 time in the military. "

Absolutely right! I commend you and MANY others on this thread as being some of the best I have ever seen. I come away with the feeling that many DO get it, but sadly, too many don't. ( and they walk among us! ).
