John McCain has stabbed conservatives in the back for years and we are suppose to accept the lesser of two evils?

When I'm in a quandry about anything, I find it best to return to first principles. With McCain, I ask myself whyever would I want to support a man who clawed to the top of the heep by helping to undermine the party and the people whose support he now needs. Who worked against the principles he now claims to support...(very Stalinist, that)... In short, to support him now only reinforces behaviour of the outright sickest and most pathological kind, something I will NEVER do.

At least with McCain we are getting a soldier, and a true American, and we know he won’t allow partial birth abortion.

So, you still take McCain's word??? What planet have you been living on for the last twenty years?

"Ah, the "pragmatists" can never resist the de rigeur slam at principled conservatives who won't sell their birthright for a bowl of potage."

Always ready to pull that "least worse" lever, they never met a bedrock conservative principle they couldn't rise above. These faux conservatives are beloved by GOP Big Tent RINO Central because they can always be counted on to cave and fold like a $3 suitcase when it's time to vote.

Obama, Obiden, Pelosi are inadvertently turning this election into a referendum on abortion.

Politicket,If I may ask a question that is not intended to mock you, but a serious question. Do you see no room for picking the candidate that best represents God's wishes?

No offense intended to anyone, but which candidate best represents God's wishes. It's surely not Barack Obama's position of voting to allow the killing of fetus that survive an abortion procedure. That is pure evil. I do not support stem cell research on fetus (let's be clear, as there are other kinds). But. I have no problem choosing McCain's wrong headed misinformed position over Obama/Obiden's clearly EVIL position on this.

Wow! You've met God? What did he tell you he wanted?

Did he say, 'Thus saith the lord, "I want a psychotic geriatric with his finger on the button in The Oval Office in '08?" .' Or words to that effect?

I’m with you brother.

You speak great truth! The conservative movement has to come to some form of unity to defeat this looming imminent evil.

Bottom line - McCain's misinformed position still kills babies. My family will not cast a vote for a candidate who's policies shed innocent blood - period.

Yes, I have. He told me many, many things through his Holy word - the Bible.

He told me to obey His word and not rush to people who are willing to shed innocent blood.

And what did he say about trusting in a psychotic old man willing to lie and betray his principles to get whatever he wants?

Why don't you try reading His word and see for yourself. If you have any questions then I will do my best to answer them.
