The 7 Most Retarded Ways Celebrities Have Tried to Go Green

By David Knight

With the threat of global warming looming, it's more important than ever that all of us appear to care about the environment.

Maybe no one works harder on this than celebrities, who make it a point to show up in the papers every now and then with their latest eco-friendly gesture. We would applaud them for this, if it wasn't for the fact that the gestures are often mind-blowingly retarded.

Smaller bikinis on physically attractive women help the environment.

Less matrial means a lesser carbon footprint to produce.

Less material means a lesser carbon footprint to transport.

Smaller bikinis mean less retail storage space

of course only conservative women could pull it off because left wing women are so plain not attractive.

Many times the “green” products are no different than the “former” products except for a “green” certification.

“Green” products are usually either more expensive, underpowered, less effective, less refined, or in general inferior to conventional alternatives.

Some alternatives are ok but generally way to expensive for my wallet.

I’ve found that rank and file libs really don’t care about the hypocrisy of their leaders.

They view them as the demi-gods serving the greater good by gifting us with their superior leadership who deserve to be exempt from the rules imposed on the general public.

so one tankful of private jet fuel would take my car 134,640 miles

I'm assuming you have a diesel. Otherwise it might run a mile or two but the pinging would be terrific.

it is so true exaple.

Old Soap Product = 5 oz bar

Greeny Soap Product = 3.5 oz bar and SAME PRICE AS OLD SOAP PRODUCT.

We are also paying for them to go from processed food substitution ingredients to pure sugar and lesser preservaties.

Here's another one. Environmental activist Sting flies alone in private jets.

A number of years ago we had a remote recording facility. A “green” band wanted to use it for a concert they were part of. We were going to get there, then they would provide us with solar panels to hook up to so we didn’t hurt the environment.

Only a few itsy bitsy teensy little problems.
1) We needed to drive this 40 foot semi *all* the way across the country and back when done.
2) Solar panels wouldn’t provide enough power to run the thing.
3) They didn’t want to pay for the labor to tear apart the wiring system to get the power from panels, and the following repairs, and they didn’t want to pay the transportation costs.

The bottom line was they were all hat no cattle. This was a wonderful plan as long as it didn’t affect their profit margins. We told them “no thanks”.
