Renewing America’s Promise. Millions of Americans are struggling to get by. The failed policies of the last eight years have betrayed the country’s values and left an economy out of balance. Barack Obama believes a strong economy is unattainable with a weak middle class. Tuesday’s Convention program will feature the voices of Americans who share Barack’s concerns and strongly support his detailed economic plan to grow the economy, create jobs, restore fairness, and expand opportunity.

Senator Hillary Clinton will be the headline prime-time speaker and former Virginia Governor Mark Warner will deliver the keynote address on Tuesday night. Pay Equity pioneer Lilly Ledbetter will also address the Convention on Tuesday.

Other Tuesday speakers will include: Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana; Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts; Governor Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas; Governor Janet Napolitano of Arizona; Governor Joe Manchin of West Virginia; Governor Jim Doyle of Wisconsin; Governor Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania; Governor Ted Strickland of Ohio; Governor David Paterson of New York; Governor Chet Culver of Iowa; Senator Bob Casey, Jr., of Pennsylvania; Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont; former Secretary of Energy and Transportation Federico Peña; House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer; House Democratic Caucus Chair Rahm Emanuel; Representative Xavier Becerra (D-CA), Assistant to the Speaker of the House; and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chair Chris Van Hollen, who will use his time to showcase his top candidates for change.

Representatives Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), Linda Sanchez (D-CA), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), Mike Honda (D-CA), California Controller John Chiang, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards, Change To Win’s Anna Burger, and AFL-CIO President John Sweeney will also speak.

Wednesday, August 27 – Securing America’s Future. Barack Obama offers a new, tough foreign policy that is neither Republican nor Democratic, but is a strong, smart American foreign policy to make our country more secure and advance our interests in the world. Wednesday night’s Convention program will feature the voices of Americans who share Barack’s vision of making America stronger and safer.

The headline prime-time speaker on Wednesday will be Barack Obama’s Vice Presidential Nominee.

Featured speakers will include: Former President Bill Clinton; former Senator Tom Daschle; Governor Bill Richardson and Senators Evan Bayh, Joe Biden, John Kerry and Jay Rockefeller. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Convention home state Senator Ken Salazar, House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn, and Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL) along with Chicago Mayor Richard Daley. Representative Patrick Murphy (D-PA) and Iraq War veteran Tammy Duckworth will lead a tribute honoring those who give so much to secure our nation’s future – veterans, active duty military and their families.

Thursday, August 28 – Change You Can Believe In. On Thursday night, the DNCC will throw open the doors of the Convention and move to INVESCO Field at Mile High so that more Americans can be a part of the fourth night of the Convention as Barack Obama accepts the Democratic nomination. Obama will communicate the urgency of the moment, highlight the struggles Americans are facing and call on Americans to come together to change the course of our nation.

Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. will address the Convention on Thursday night.

Additional details of the program to precede Barack Obama’s acceptance speech will be announced later this week.

Yeah, Krautkopf did say her speech was hokey, but in the next breath he praised it to high heaven, saying it was "just right".

I turned the tube off and will be heading for bed. The Fox newsies have made me sick all day with their incredible fawning and pandering. I do believe they're all on a Rocky Mountain high.

"Yikes — James Carville on CNN said “if this party has a message it was lost tonight”."

Slave driving extreme leftists at CNN let the Obama's out on a long leash tonight with all that love America, family and God stuff. Tomorrow it will be the choker chain. I actually feel sorry for this clueless couple and their children.

I didn’t watch this only the highlights but I have to agree. Michelle looked cosmetic hair & all. The delivery looked scripted and she has the demeanor of someone with a short fuse. She could go off at any moment.

And where was the breaking news with this story?...

Sen. John McCain's office in Denver received a letter from what the media has been calling, Eric Ramsey. The problem is in this is this person's real identity is not being shown nor named as his picture reveals on the right.
Mr. Ramsey might have been born under that name, but now goes by the title of, AKEEM RAMSEL EL. If that name sounds Muslim, it is because it is.
Mr. Ramsel El, is part of the same black power movement which Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan and Barack Obama all adhere to.

For a most interesting addition, his letter is quoted in full below which he sent John McCain.

Quote:

Senator McCain,IF you are reading this then you are already Dead!

Unless of course you can't or don't breathe.
There are numerous substances which are deadly for humans to inhale.
There are just as many time periods for signs of illness to show, by which time it's to late.
Who expects to develop cancer 40 years after Vietnam?
Only those that knew the risk and side effects of Agent Orange.
DoD, DOW, Diamond Shamrock, U.S. Surgeon General

You're out of time.

Allahu Akbar

Akeem Ramsel El

End quote.

Mr. Ramsel El by coincidence did not share his anthrax letter with any Democrats. He by coincidence has a name like Barack Hussein Obama, is black and is carrying out a jihad against people not like him.
One doubts if he is going to be casting an illegal Democratic vote from prison for Chuck Baldwin, a white pastor.

In this line, Florida Republican Governor Charlie Crist who is on Sen. McCain's short list for Vice President also received a white powder letter. No origin of place was noted on that letter.
The GOP office in New Hampshire did receive a Denver letter too, but most of the powder had leaked out before it arrived at the office.

That New Hampshire letter spilled white powder from Denver to New Hampshire. That means every postal sorting station having mail moving mail into California to New York had mail exposed to it. If this had been weapons grade anthrax, this agent does not degrade, but will sit in mail bins, airplanes, in sorting bags and on other mail and packages indefinitely. Every person in the United States could be exposed and hundreds of thousands were to this “white powder” no one is taking seriously.

Didn't watch much. Chris Wallace said the evening was "wasted." That is what I think these conventions are anyway. Wasted taxpayers money so politicians and their cronies can have a party and take 5 days to do the work that could be done in one without the hoopla.

But, did catch Michelle. Dress - was ok, but kept seeing her bra straps, and it was a bit tight not very flattering. Makeup and hair was great. Kids looked so cute. But, I kept thinking: No substance, crude appreciation mention of Hillary. Too much trying to look like a modern version of a Rockwell painting or something. Am I watching a TV ad for a Kodak moment or what? Daddy speaks, kids say "Love you, Daddy." Etc. Okay, so, they have a good family relationship, that's nice, wouldn't want less for them. But all this "feelie-mealie" stuff is for family reunions, not presidential campaigns.

And no one on TV mentioned how many times Michelle said the word "see..." every time before a new sentence practacally. See, as if she felt the people wouldn't pay attention. See, or like some school-teacher. See, I thought that was a bit condescending. See, it appears that Obama has his umms and ahhs and Michelle punctuates her speeches with "see..." a hundred times. See, I think both these people need to spend some time in a Toastmaster's club to learn how to give a speech without adding the unnecessary words.- See?
