This sounds like a new form of strategery to deal with one of the many Obama controversies, which he has yet to excercise against the many other damaging stories that have actually proven to be of substance.
The closest example would be the Rathergate smear against Bush which was quickly and decisively destroyed by the blogosphere - how ironic in light of your statement.
He should present his birth certificate a day or two before the convention or maybe on the day it starts.If even then.
He has a win-win situation. If this doesn't affect his voters then it keeps the right wing blogosphere busy for awhile. If it does break he lets the blogs get the expectations ratcheted up before he lowers the boom on them. On his own schedule.

Me thinks that George Soros thinks that Obama is a huge ASSET to his ambitions. Especially since Soros himself is not a US citizen but a wayfaring Ruskie communist.
Those commies have not been known to support the US Constitution. So it makes sense that Soros would make a play through a puppet like Obama, to see if he can slip one past us. Soros has stated his ambitions to bury Bush and Republicans. He puts his money quite liberally into those front groups that back socialists like Obama.
A birth certificate for Obama is a pretty important document me thinks. Important to America in more ways than one.

What a funny thing to say! Those PUMA people, supporters of Hillary for President, say that about the Republicans.
They claim that the RNC is just waiting until after the Dem’s convention to destroy Obama’s credibility with a copy of his real Birth Certificate and other documents from Indonesia. No one among Hillary’s supporters speaks as though she is capable of doing this herself, or of managing a coup at their convention in Denver!
If when the mainstream begins reporting and debating a story that basically telegraphs that “Barrack is not who he has been advertising himself to be”, the average voter (not already brainwashed) begins to have very serious doubts about the individual in question.
Please show me from a past political campaign where a leading contender “springs the trap” on a very controversial story that is brewing under the radar, in such a way, that it scores points for him/herself.Let me turn it around. If you were running the Dem campaign this year what would you do? How do you counter what went on in 2004. You can already see they are using a much different strategy to deal with Corsi. Give them credit for learning something.
Maybe the BC is a forgery and they are idiots. I think that's what people here want to believe. I think we need a lot more skepticism. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Obama can provide a 400 page rebuttal to Corsi’s book for all I care. Unless an independent source that can be trusted to be objective comes out with a rebuttal, there will not be a rebuttal in the eyes of the American voter.
The State of Hawaii has publicly said that the birth certificate on Obama’s website is authentic.They haven't said that it was valid. They say the law doesn't allow them to do that. But you can bet if they knew it was a forgery they would have absolutely no comments whatsoever. They wouldn't want any blowback on their department.
Instead their spokesman has said the controversy is "pretty ridiculous".

Obama clearly is misrepresenting his story and esp the people whom he keeps close to him, before he pushed them under the bus..
I’m to the point that Obama springing a supposed legit BC may not have any impact on people’s impression of him.
He is hiding a great deal of background information on himself. That says he had things in his background he fears will jeopardize his campaign OR that he doesn’t trust the American people with the truth.
We can’t have a President who won’t trust his own people!

The last statement I read basically indicated that she (Ms. Mikobu) stated that she could not comment “either way” as to the authenticity of the COLB posted on the Obama campaign site.
