Sources say former Secretary of State Colin Powell will endorse Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention, Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol told FOX News exclusively on Thursday.
He may well give a speech at the Democratic convention explaining his endorsement of Obama, Kristol m a FOX News contributor, said, citing inside sources.
This is not an absolute done deal, but these people are very confident that Powell will endorse Obama, Kristol said, adding that he thinks Powell, a Republican, still has a high respect for John McCain, Obamas Republican rival.
Powell immediately denied the report.
I do not have time to waste on Bill Kristols musings, Powell told ABC News. I am not going to the convention. I have made this clear.
Roll Call executive editor Mort Kondracke, also a FOX News contributor, said he personally has spoken with Powell, who denied the report and said he has made no endorsement decisions, according to Kondracke......."
FReepers..whataya gonna do ;-)
You know what's interesting is that she doesn't say that Powell isn't going to endorse Obo..she says he isn't going to be at either convention.
Heh..just more fuel for the fire of confusion and controversy.
LOL..that's good!!!
I personally don't care who he endorses. He's always had little credibility with me.

J.C. Watts is an utter disgrace. I’ve heard him on Hannity’s show a few times over the past few months and each time he attempts to rationalize more and more his obvious affection for Obama.
Last time he was on he mentioned something about how he thought the Reublican party took for granted black conservatives and evangelicals. Now, while I find that statement almost incomprehensible in and of itself, I had to wonder if this genius who’s taken one too many hard hits has thought about what the Democrats do to black conservatives and evangelicals. It’s possible, of course, that Watts knows this and simply can’t help peeing in his pants over the possibility of a half-black president.
This all just makes me sick. If a white Democrat were going to vote for McCain solely because he’s the “white guy,” he’d rightly be called out on using race as the deciding factor. Black people do it and nobody says a word.
The suprise being.................?
What’s Kristol Up To? (Neocon Bogeymen)
