At this moment there are more than 300 million people living in the United States. How many are here illegally is uncertain and the estimated number changes depending on the political or social persuasion of the numerator. While liberal or compassionate Americans like to denounce any objections to the presence of illegal aliens as racism or bigotry over just a few, indeed as little as 12 million, cooler heads place the number closer to double and maybe even triple that amount.
While those same high-minded theologians and social reformers also claim that the few illegal aliens are only here for much needed work and are family oriented and civic minded, nothing could be further from the truth. Many of the illegal aliens are members of criminal gangs, or rely on an income, not from their own work ethics, but from the work of American taxpayers. The number of illegal aliens receiving public assistance in the form of welfare, food stamps, and other government handouts is huge, and a drain on state coffers. Emergency rooms in local hospitals are swamped by illegal aliens using their services for running noses and other light ailments, and using fraudulent identification in order to avoid payment.
Many people have a variety of reasons to forgive or condemn the illegal alien presence. The compassionate urge humanitarian treatment, and claim mass deportation is unwarranted and impossible to achieve, while blocking any attempt at strong law enforcement. The concerned work tireless to change local laws, raise their voices of alarm above the oppositions roar, and warn others about an ever increasing flood of illegal aliens who rape, kill, steal, drive drunk, unlicensed and uninsured, use public funds they are not entitled to, and use stolen identification to deprive American citizens of employment, domiciles and government aid.
I have opinions about the illegal aliens derived from the several parts of my personal life:
As a Christian: Does it ever occur to the enablers who push the Bible, (a book they have seldom actually read) at Christians in an attempt to shame us into complacency, that the illegal aliens would not be in such dire straits if they had just stayed home and not entered the United States illegally?
As an American: No, we do not owe illegal aliens anything; a living, a job, free schooling for their illegal alien children, or pseudo 14th Amendment children. Nor are we to welcome with open arms people who deliberately break our sovereign laws in order to enter our country, and then wantonly flaunt their criminal activity in our faces.
As a veteran: I use to wonder why illegal aliens did not apply to serve in the American armed forces, thus proving their fond regard for our nation. I do not wonder any longer; I do not feel that a person who would have so little respect for our immigration laws would have the character required to serve honorably in our military.
As a former immigrant: As a child I was taught to love and respect Americans. The appreciation for the sacrifice of the American soldiers and sailors in the Pacific during World War II, was passed down to me by my parents and other adults in New Zealand, who had lived in fear of imminent invasion by the Japanese. My love and appreciation for the greatest country in the world has been a lifelong attitude and inspired me to serve in the United States military as a registered alien. I wore my uniform the day I proudly became an American citizen in 1975.
When I completed an application to enter the United States, there were several requirements that illegal aliens bypass in their unauthorized entry into our country. I had to pay fees, have a clean bill of health, receive inoculations, have a thorough criminal and background check, and prove that I would not become a public dependant. I signed documents affirming that I understood I was not entitled to public assistance and that if I committed a felony, I would be deported. When I applied to enter the United States, it was with the knowledge that immigration was a serious step and required scrupulous documentation.
However I entered the country in 1971: amnesty was not a household word that year.
(1) Press 1 for English is immediately banned. English is the official language, speak it or wait at the border until you can.
(2) We will immediately go into a two year isolationist posture to straighten out the country's attitude. NO imports, no exports. We will use the ‘Walmart’ policy ‘If we ain't got it, you don't need it.’
(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.
(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border. (six month tour) They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.
(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn't put nuttin in, you ain't gettin nuttin out. The president nor any other politician will not be able to touch it.
(6) Welfare - Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week and the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.
(7) Professional Athletes —Steroids - The FIRST time you check positive you're banned for life.
(8) Crime - We will adopt the Turkish method, the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There is no more life sentences, if convicted you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim, gun, knife, strangulation, etc.
(9) One export will be allowed, Wheat, The world needs to eat. A bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.
(10) All foreign aid using American taxpayer money will immediately cease, and the saved money will pay off the national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it's a worthy cause.
(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress.
(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.
Sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes but a vote for me will get you better than what you have, and better than what you're gonna get. Thanks for listening, and remember to write in my name on the ballot in November.
God bless America

#1. ***50% of all American dollars be sent across the borders to another country earned by a non-citizen will be confiscated and used to pay off the US debt.
#2. ***Anyone desecrating an American flag or displaying a flag of another country would be fair game for any law abiding citizen to use as target practice.
What you consider a lack of respect for our country and our law, in another age would have been called “pioneering spirit.” Initiative and guts are good things when applied in the service of family, community and nation. It would be a good thing if the “nation” in this case were the USA and not Mexico... I'm willing to consider amnesty, but only for people who would truly be assets to our country.
I agree with your post (pretty much), but I take exception to this:
(7) Professional Athletes Steroids - The FIRST time you check positive you’re banned for life.
I don’t think athletics is any of the government’s business. Government shoudl stay the hell outta what these idiots put into their own bodies -
Well, I got that in an email and just copied and pasted onto this thread. FWIW, I think the government should do its business and let the citizens alone 99% of the time.
Except the pioneers weren’t looking to live on government largesse.
We are a nation of laws. Illegal aliens show that they are quite willing to break our laws if it is to their benefit - they are similar to burglars who break into a house and they decide to stay.
The conditions in post 9/11 American are different from pioneer days. We have every right to protect ourselves from terrorists, other violent criminals - many of the pedophiles and rapists, and riffraff out to scam us.
No nation who fails to protect its borders can survive. We have every right to protect our way of life - and it is the survival of this country that is threatened by this invasion.
What wimps to surrender to this invasion and moan, "There are too many of them, nothing we can do, they are 'God's children.' Let the run over us." Of course we can and should take action.
2. Repatriot all illegal aliens to their country of origin.
3. Offset the TOTAL cost of enforcement, incarceration, justice and transportation back to the countries of origin through reduction in aid or tariffs on imported goods...plus 10k per person.
That being said we do need a much more effective guest worker program that documents, photographs, checks for disease and makes sure entrants work for reputable business's, file and pay their taxes and return to their countries when their temporary work visas expire. This may include a deposit of 5-10k they make on entry and which is forfeited if they don't exit prior to expiration.
They wouldn’t qualify as “assets.”
There are plenty of them that stand on their own two feet.
A local radio talk show host now has been discussing how the brutal San Salvador gang-—MS-13-—seeks out so called self proclaimed “sanctuary cities” and politicians who favor such cities, then sets up their thugs in these cities with the ultimate goal of taking over.
The talk show host is discussing it because the Hartford CT city council last night past an ordinance to give social services benefits to illegal aliens and prevents city officials from asking a person’s place of origin. Th Mayor must sign off to make it official. It’s 50-50 as to whether he will sign.
Framingham, Somerville, Everett, Chelsea, East Boston.......take your pick. I think the gang rape of the wheelchair-bound teenage girl was Somerville...Winter Hill area.
What you do is hold the employers responsible with fines.
Once they get fined $1000, then $5000 and possible $10,000 you will see a decline of offers for employment.
Independent gardening and handyman work would be all they could find after that.
Fining employers would be a lot more effective than even a fence.
Once word gets out in places like Mexico about fines and loss of jobs, they will not come near as much illegally to the USA IMO.
It’s pretty strightforward:
1. Turn off the welfare magnet. The benefits of citizenship are for legal and naturalized citizens only. For libtards out there, this means no more free stuff for illegals.
2. Punish, not reward employers who hire illegals. For libtards out there, this means that if you hire illegals and you get caught, you’ll pay for it.
3. Call illegal immigration it for what it is: It’s Mexico exporting the consequences of its own corruption and unwillingness to reform. Let Mexico experience the full consequences of its corrupt culture. For libtards out there, this means that actions have consequences.
That ought to do it...
FR won’t let me post it without it being taken down.
Whenever I hear "machete" I think Brazilians. And whenever I think "Brazilians" I think Framingham.
Simply enforce existing laws and see where that takes the problem before launching new laws.
Nice post #7. I advocate enforcing existing law. Using those cited laws, jailing people and fining them would make the illegals have to deport themselves as they would have no jobs, homes, or means of hiding out or making a living.
Among others, a proper fence is necessary along with more BP agents. Also, no anchor babies - actually there is no law that says we have to recognize the children of illegal aliens as citizens.
And no perks to illegal aliens who claim, often falsely, to be victims. If criminal go to the hospitals or reports crimes, they should be arrested, not given a pass for their crimes.
ping
Yeah, that anchor baby thing is one thing I’d change pronto.
Post what ????
