Dunno. Ever read “Little House on the Prairie?” You couldn't get much more American that the Ingalls - but they were “illegal aliens” on Indian territory. They had to pick up and leave because they thought US Army was going to move the settlers out of Indian Territory.

What you consider a lack of respect for our country and our law, in another age would have been called “pioneering spirit.” Initiative and guts are good things when applied in the service of family, community and nation. It would be a good thing if the “nation” in this case were the USA and not Mexico... I'm willing to consider amnesty, but only for people who would truly be assets to our country.
