Software for the Apple that can be used in class — either for making presentations or for teaching some of the students the software itself. I just learned how to use “Final Cut Pro” a couple of weeks ago. That’s a software package that’s actually used in advertising, music videos and some TV shows and movies.

I first thought it was a starling, then saw the rust on the breast..grabbed the binoculars..memorized the markings and it had more rust on its breast than the juveniles pictured in search but still had the spots...

I can’t be sure it was my favorite raccoon unless I can see her back foot that is most always on the shadow side of the outdoor flood light. She has a dark spot where she was wounded last year. 2 more are very comfortable with me.
I go through periods where they show up less often..my kitty misses them!

What have you been doing this summer?

We have so many critters here and they are indulging on all that I planted. And deer too

Booboo goes back in 2 weeks. Tomorrow we will do some back to school clothes shopping.

Pretty good for me, less good for those who developed stomach trouble. I'm also the fairest skinned ... and I'm probably the least-burned.

We spent a week in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It was okay, a nice change of pace, but I don't think we'll be going back.

I got to walk from the room to the pool to the sea and back. Jumped off a boat way offshore ... into five feet of water (it's called the "natural pool"), took a scuba lesson in the pool (did well), rode a Segway for a few feet (never seen one before ... there were bunches down there).

The bananas were wonderful. The Pepsi was made with Azucar and not jarabe de maíz fructosa major. The rest of the food wasn't anything special, but it was plentiful.

Oh, yeah.... It was HOT and sticky.

Enjoying swimming?

Been swimming in the Carribean. Well, swimming in a pool on an island in the Carribean. I don't really swim in oceans or seas. I'm more of a wade in and just the waves kind of guy, except there's no waves in the Carribean Sea. Go figure.

Sounds like a very unusual vacation!

My hubby went down there with the Air Force, and when they
were out deep-sea fishing, some local bozo shot at them from shore.

Needless to say, he wasn’t interested in fishing after that!
Also forgot about his seasickness! LOL!
