Barack Obama's campaign went looking for unregistered black voters in barbershops and beauty salons across the state Saturday, including Broward and Palm Beach counties, in a new outreach effort to African-Americans.

Go where the people are, I guess.
I am sure ACORN will also be visiting funeral homes, detention centers, and bus shelters to register the Dead, illegal immigrants, criminals and the homeless.
they will vote early and often!
I found some interesting statistics:
given by people who identified their occupation as “Hair Dresser”.
$7,130 from 11 people to Republicans
$5,800 from 10 people to Democrats
given by people who identified their occupation as “Beautician”.

Opps missed one
given by people who identified their occupation as “Hairdresser”.
$8,529 from 18 people to Republicans
$43,031 from 64 people to Democrats
It is extraordinarily simply to register to vote, so just how brain numbingly stupid can people be who can’t figure out how to register on their own?
"How Fabulouth!!!"
My initial reaction is that Obama’s supporters are really dredging for voters, because the poll numbers ARE indeed worrying. Your info is highly interesting, though. To an Obamite, all people who cut hair are probably hairdressers or hairstylists...just like all white PA voters are bitter, gun-toting, God-fearing bigots and xenpohobes.
But how do you keep from getting hanging chads with those long nails?
You left out Fatburger and the local Malt shop( the non-milk variety.)
Possible post-prez-run career choice for Obama?
RACISTS!
I guess the next question in that would be did he go to ALL barbershops and BEAUTY shops?
There are but the problem is getting the voters to the polls and that is hard. He had a real chance but the Obama fatigue is real and was inevitable. His mistake is unlike Reagan he speaks to give voice to the critiques of all who despise America. He claims to offer to fix even what is not broken and fails to acknowledge the strengths of “the shining city on the hill”. America if broken is not because its people do not speak a second language, it is not because we have too small a government, it is not because we do not give enough to charity, it is not because we do not show restraint in the face of war. It is because people like Obama have forgotten what made this country great. It is not the size or benevolence of our government that makes this country great it is the independence and righteousness of a people who have risen time and time again against the odds, against conventional wisdom and fought the good fight when others could not stomach it.
Obama and people like him are not ashamed of the faults of America many which they are directly responsible for. No they are ashamed of our patriotism, our faith in God, our belief in traditional family, our belief in the sanctity of life, our belief that what we earn is ours to determine what part will be given in charity, that Caesar is not a replacement for our immortal souls. That the goals of government bureaucrats do not trump the personal sovereignty of the individual and his property.
Probably not. And can you see them walking into barber shop or beauty salon and ignoring all the white clients? Disenfranchisement. Terrible.
Nope, race doesn't play any part of this election. What? The Obama campaign is assuming that all "African-Americans" will vote for him? Just because he is 20% black? Nothing else matters?
Well I'll be!
Voter fraud. Watch.
